Considering one guy have been active for the last few years and just got off Japan's biggest event, and one guy who essentially a part timer, it is rather easy to see that. While every new wrestler coming into WWE will always have some sort of communication issue the first time around, it is more glaringly in this case to me. Or maybe that I'm used to fluid, fast matches which make these pause more out of place to me.

You said you don't follow WWE do you probably don't know this, but Jericho's been wrestling on live events regularly, and even had several matches on TV, PPV and Network Specials. So that's not really a fair point, I'd say he's had a pretty full schedule. Styles is just as much at fault as Jericho.

Hey, if you find Katsuyori Shibata or Tomohiro Ishii being a wannabe MMA fighter and no selling everyone's moves, go enjoy that, but don't do it at the expense of a talent like Chris Jericho.

It's probably just b/c they had never worked together. I didn't think any of the matches they had were 'sloppy' they were good wrestling matches. If anything, Styles probably had to adjust more to Jericho b/c of WWE work style. They're both good wrestlers, I definitely don't remember any of the pauses you mentioned.

It's also easy to just turn this argument that you used against STyles, to just say he has been working in minor leagues and adjusting to WWE style.

Whatever, I don't care I just think its funny to say 'Jericho is sloppy' when there's another guy in the ring with him.

Hogan got a bigger pop from pointing at someone than Nakamura will ever get in his life.

Let's be fair

Hogan's finger point out pops just about everyone

Hulkamania is still running wild BROTHER!! And also I dunno if someone has mentioned this but is he the only person ever in a courtroom to win a case under his stage name while wearing a doo rag and being white?

If you're white you've already won half the case

Really? Perhaps he's booking it like a fight.

Because you know, that's how he did it with HBK and Rey. Psychology pal.....that's a thing, you probably never seen it because you like vanilla midgets. Took Jericho until 2008 to fully grasp that.

Also he doesn't take pride vitamins, he has abs, what dough are you seeing? That of a 46 year old?

I respectfully disagree. I watch plenty of matches with psychology too. Let's not just assume that because one is a neckbeard that he can't understand psychology.

And also....Chris had abs? Really?

He looks slightly tighter in the lower pic but he doesn't really have an abs.

Styles was in japan so it's Jerichos fault

One is more active than the other. It is not exactly rocket science here.

If abs are a requirement, then I guess you think Okada is sloppy too.

I don't particularly enjoy Ishii or Shibata's works, mind you. They makes good, old school violence stiff fest but that's the thing i'm watching when there's nothing else to do. And also, while I know that Chris have been working shows and whatnot, he's not a full time schedule member of the roster. And also he worked with the regular roster, not a brand new guy in the E. But the argument that it also Styles' adjustment period does make sense and not the one i'm willing to cop out for some internet brownie points.

Opinions are made to be different. Notice that I never denied the possibility that Styles also needs to adjust as much as I saw it on Jericho's side of things more. It is a two way street but I take this side of the fence, if you see what I mean here.

As for the pause, there was a moment in one of their matches where Styles was going for his forearm while Jericho was standing near slack jawed waiting so that he could pull the springboard drop kick as a reversal. That was one moment that stood out to me.

A guy with a spare tire shouldn't judge what abs are.

Thems nattie abs.

I posted though to as a counter point the argument that Jericho has abs, mind you. Okada doesn't have abs but he isn't sloppy. Sloppiness and abs are not exactly linked in my argument here.

By your own admission then, we should disregard Styles' matches in NJPW, since his matches were with established NJPW wrestlers and not young boys.

Styles has also said several times the ropes are harder to manage in the WWE, so maybe Jericho was waiting to allow time for Styles to perform the move safely.

Damn..I understand the pain of being a leafs and Jay's fan..how did that happen? You from the 6? Least our Jay's hadda run last year

jays should get back there this year

You made a comment that Jericho was sloppy and his physique was bad (I'm paraphrasing), I can quote the post. This was before Deezy was even online. All I'm saying, is that you can't argue that physique is related to talent, or else we'd rule out a lot of good wrestlers like Okada.

You aren't going to win brother. He's dug in and isn't moving.
