okada was trained in a dojo
if he wanted to lift he had to do it on his own time

But your own admission then, we should disregard Styles' matches in NJPW, since his matches were with established NJPW wrestlers and not young boys.

Styles has also said several times the ropes are harder to manage in the WWE, so maybe Jericho was waiting to allow time for Styles to perform the move safely.

Or that Styles was waiting for Jericho. It could go either way. And no, Styles can works in a Japan style matches, but considering that he joined a few years ago as a star attraction that only participate in PPV, and also versus guys that he never wrestled in his time in TNA, the argument still stand. He won the IWGP title in his debut match, mind you. Nobody complained about his matches then, iirc.

You made a comment that Jericho was sloppy and his physique was bad, I can quote the post. This was before Deezy was even online. All I'm saying, is that you can't argue that physique is related to talent, or else we'd rule out a lot of good wrestlers like Okada.

It is more of an indication of his current state of physique but I digress.

You aren't going to win brother. He's dug in and isn't moving.

Read again.

A tire factory tbh.

What proof do you have that Jericho would be waiting? That's speculation, and has no merit. I can gladly find proof that Styles has said the WWE ropes are a lot harder to manage, and that would corroborate my story.

Again, what proof do you have? His matches against the likes of Okada, Nakamura and Ibushi - the established talent in Japanese wrestling. I like his matches and have no problem saying he's talented, all I'm doing it applying your logic to him to prove that you have no foundation and are hating on a talented veteran in Jericho.

Jericho never wrestler most of the people he's faced in recent years on his way to the WWE and had good matches when they were all on the main roster. I fail to the see the comparison you're making?

Jericho's had a similar physique since his return in 2007 (outside of a loss of mass in the chest), and that return was his best run in professional wrestling to most people. He's actually probably lost weight from his stomach.

I clearly stated that this is my opinion (which somehow turned into that i'm just hating Jericho but I digress. Sometimes the anti neckbeard sentiment in here just spiral out of control). And also, you said that Jericho had toured and participated in matches on the road with the regular roster. That proved that he had time to gel with the current line up. Which limits the sloppiness. And the examples with AJ Styles debuting in NJPW is merely to pointed out that AJ had no problems adjusting to new style of wrestling versus new people he had never wrestle before. Overall, it doesn't really negate my points, and I already acknowledge that it could go both ways, but from my perspective, it is this way (which of course get spun into "he's just hating Jericho" - i'm not).

And that's 7 years ago. 7 years is a lifetime in the wrestling industry.

Tell me your experience to point out sloppiness.

Watching renovation shows don't make you a carpenter.

Are we really going into this "I watched wrestling more than you so therefore my opinions are more valid than you" route? I defend my position and also acknowledge the opposition. Is that not enough? Somehow this spun into "he's just hating Chris Jericho" line too. Really, have i ever mention in any of my replies that i don't like Jericho?

But your opinion is at the expense of a competent wrestler. I'm willing to provide proof that it's not Jericho's exclusive fault, which seems to be your viewpoint - an incorrect one at that. As I've said, Styles has talked of his adjustment to the ropes, ring and style of the WWE and Jericho has had good matches with other superstars is a recent enough period for it to show he hasn't declined (like you keep insisting).

He wrestled Neville for the first time on a Network Special - good match. He wrestled Kevin Owens for the first time in a similar environment - good match. The list goes on.

It does negate your points, because you're relying on speculation. All I'm doing is proving your speculation is just that and has an underlying resistance because Styles is your favourite wrestler. Both men are tier 1 wrestlers, but you don't want to seem to acknowledge that.

You're are hating him, because of your persistence that he's not that good anymore, when the opposite has been proven by his peers and his matches over the last 12 months. If I say Daniel Bryan is a bad wrestler because he had a bad series of matches with Kane (random names, interchange as you want), that an invalid argument, because his recent work dictates otherwise.

Sigh, I noted that it is equally possible that Styles also had adjustment issues but nobody catch it, it seems. I only take the other position because it appears to me that way but everyone is focusing on the hating instead. That's your speculation based on what i said. What's the point of arguing then when my opinions keep getting bent out of shape and nobody notice it?

it all started when you said Y2J was incompetent, which he definitely isnt.

his matches with styles ahve been good, he is a good wrestler, and a good pro. protected neville after he got hurt and was megapissed at lil naitch. a pro's pro, and i am sure everyone would love to work with him. i'm sure chris also wanted to work with aj, and vice versa.

Ah well.

Read your initial post, you were certain of Jericho's inferiority, until you argument was proven invalid. I notice you routinely go to the "everybody hates me and calls me a neckbeard" routine when you have no foundation for your points. I'm addressing exactly what is in your posts, not warping your opinion, if you can't provide reasoning for your agenda-driven points, don't post them.

Project much?

Not even close to what I said.

I watched hockey my entire life, not going to say a Crosy should stay out of the goal line because I'm not a professional.

Nor would I try tell Messi how to shoot a free kick or tell Steph Curry how to shoot 3s.

That's presumptuous.

Just because we've watched wrestling our entire lives, doesn't make any of us experts.

It's silly. We weren't there when they drawn the match out.

Booking and what we find entertaining is one thing. To act like you know the flow and spots planned are just typical IWC hilarity.
