PWD PWD: 1237: 2026 Year of the Fire Horse

Great look, in shape, can cut a promo, can work a good fun match, already has a solid following.

This is a signing I'm happy with and think they got right.
Well lets hope he gets more action than the last TNA guy to come over

D'Von Dudley finally said the racist thing that Jim Ross said to him. Sounds like JR was just ribbing him and D'Von got worked into a shoot and 26 years later D'Von still doesn't understand JR was just joking with him <lmao>

I figured it was a good ole boy rib when the story first came out and thats definitely what it sounds like

Ah well, cest la vie, which was the style at the time...

Im not going to tell another man how to feel about something(unless they are my sons) since there is more to communication than just seeing texts. Tone, inflection, body language, other behaviors you've noticed from this person etc. I will say this, I lived in the south for years under a notorious racist unit. There is a fine line between being a good sport about some racist jokes because its just their way and being a pushover, weak little bitch who lets people talk to you any old way. In my experience there are definitely retarded white people that will start with some mild racist jokes(funny to me) and if they see you dont do anything about it then it quickly ramps up to calling you straight up racial slurs and laughing about it. Like with most human interactions there is a lot of nuance. It depends on a lot of things. Some people Id let make some mildy racist jokes to me and others Id stop right away because Ive heard them call other people beaners and spics before and I just didnt like them on top of it.

That's certainly different from what DVon claimed originally.
I mean JR is an old 70s white guy who grew up in OK and was mentored by Bill Watts but still, the original story sounded like something out of a cartoon.

I love that HHH made his valiant return at MSG and married Steph IRL and thought he was gonna be the the face of rasslin now and then 50 year old Hogan returns and less than a month after WM beats him clean for the undisputed world heavyweight title. "That doesn't work for me, brother." More proof that he's the GOAT.

lol they called Hogan's comeback the greatest even after HHH came back from his quad

You know I can kinda understand why HHH's reign of terror happened afterwards and why he was so protective of his spot.
March 14: closes out WM18 winning both belts.
March 15: "You're dropping the titles to Hogan in less than a month on the next PPV, pal!"
HHH: "But we're doing-uh, the brand split-uh, in less than two weeks-uh. Just put us-uh on different-uh brands-uh."
Vince: "Well you'll only be on Raw but Hogan will be features on both shows."

Me & Roxie just got home from a nice afternoon walk in this warm sun and I am happy and so thankful to report that she is pretty much back to full strength, physically and mentally, she still has a slight hitch in her giddy up that I think she will have forever but everyone we see in the neighborhood these past several days has been commenting on how much better she looks and acts

She's back to her old happy, playful, strong, confident self that thinks she's the Pope Of Chilitown of every block in the neighborhood as she struts around with her chest out and her tail at full mast, pulling me from house to house so she can do her wiggle dance and bark at every dog behind every gate, window or security door that we come across

We've started doing 2-a-days when the weather allows and I think that extra exercise helped put her over the top vis a vis her recovery

Very happy and thankful at this moment

I'm not a fan of people that constantly make racist jokes, for a lot of the same reasons you state, some of them get waaaaaay too comfortable with it and it becomes their personality.

I might be wrong, but from the outside looking in this entire situation seems completely disingenuous though with D'Von's monetization of it on his Youtube channel. But who knows, maybe JR deserves it and was a scumbag racist and finally someone can make some money off their shitty experiences with him.

It all seems carny and D'Von hitting his wrestling catchphrase in the pinned comment on the Youtube video popped me <lmao>

Speaking of which, @Based God are you old enough to remember Just-Ice?

I been bumping the fuck outta this boom bap classic lately, I used to like it when it would pop up on BET Rap City and then I forgot about it for 40 years but it popped up on a Spotify playlist recently and popped me all over again

My fat little cornball mark ass used to want one of those hats he's wearing so dang bad back then LoL
