Johnny Legend passed away, he was a Southern California old school carny that was involved in the rasslin and music business for decades

One of the first VHS tapes I ever rented as a little kid was Johnny Legend's Rock N Roll Wrestling, which was clips of Memphis Wrestling chaos mixed with music videos from people like Exotic Adrian Street and Johnny himself

@My Spot he was the guy that promoted those Incredibly Strange Wrestling shows that first introduced the world to your boys J.R. Benson & Ron Hed(the guy that filmed the infamous Jim Cornette Dairy Queen video)

He even got the ISW promotion hooked up with Lollapalooza and they did wrestling shows at the festivals back in the 90's when it was a huge deal

He once created a tv promotion called Muscle Rock Madness that was pro wrestling and a live rock n roll concert mixed together at the same time and it is one of my all time favorite unknown wild and wacky defunct wrestling promotions of all time

He was a true old school carny promoter/music business hustler in every sense of the word, one of those larger than life people that seem like a character in a cheap Hollywood crime caper movie

RIP

@My Spot you should watch this whole Muscle Rock Madness show, you'll definitely appreciate the music videos and rasslin, but its timestamped to my favorite part, which is the rapping Samoans, it is so 80's cheesy & awesome
