Matt Cardona as a heel worked on the indies as someone to boo because he was doing a WWE stan gimmick. Calling GCW fans the "GCW Universe", calling himself a "Superstar" and not a wrestler, callings titles "Universal Championships" etc.

The handful of times I watched TNA when he wasn't doing that gimmick, nobody really gave a fuck. His appearances in AEW as a babyface, nobody really gave a fuck.

Curious how he does and if they have something creative for him other than just being Matt Cardona.

LMAO Bushwhackers did that in ECW.

Maybe he can be like "I did this on the indies" type of guy.
