According to Google he has a partner and 3 kids. But even so, no reason he shouldn't have at least a couple months of cushion, especially in such a volatile job.
That damn Google AI lied to me again. Said there was no information indicating that he has a wife or kids.
Google the same question again and then the Google AI says "Yes, Ridge Holland has a family of 5, recent events highlighted his need to support his family after release from the company".
I complain all the time about AI making people stupid and then I go and look stupid reading AI.
The damn clankers boomed me again.
Chatgpt is blatantly wrong sometimes too. Sometimes Ill use it in my free time when Im interested in something. Ill ask it to support it's finding with peer reviewed articles or other empirical data. It'll say some shit like, "certainly here is so and so" and its another answer without it and Ill call it out and then it will finally admit there isnt any empirical evidence for what its saying even though I asked it to do that from the beginning. Chatgpt can be a useful study tool if you already know how to properly research things but it can be very strange sometimes.

My buddy teaches a freshman english class at one of the community colleges in the phoenix area. He runs every discussion answer through a program to make sure they are not ai. If they are ai, he gives them one chance to write it themselves, and if they use ai at any point again, he just gives them a 0.One thing I'm not looking forward to when I start school again is the weekly discussion posts and seeing 80% of my classes using AI to write their discussion and AI to write their replies. Shit made me nuts. I post a dope all natty discussion post and get some generic bullshit reply paraphrasing my post and agreeing with it. Then I go to make my replies and it's all AI generated bullshit to reply to. People too lazy to even take out all of the unnecessary hyphens and shit too.
Like, oh, 8 of you just happened to have the same exact bullet point list in your discussion post where bullet points are completely unnecessary
I hope grad school has more people that give a fuck and don't do that shit than what undergrad classes had.

I got my AA from GCC as well. I got to do my bacheor's in the same campus, but they were NAU classes. They were way tougher though, because the professor behind the program said I we are going to spend money on education, we should get the full benefit. According to students who went to NAU main for a master's later, her program was tougher.Yeah the Maricopa CC schools don't fuck around. I got my Associates degree at Glendale Community College, my Associates classes there were tougher than my bachelors classes at a University lol
My daughter went to one of the CC's here for her Associates and during her Python programming class a couple years ago she said 4 people got expelled for using AI to write their code.
The Maricopa CC's have bachelors degree programs now, I wish they had them when I was getting mine, I would've finished my bachelors there, they have quality classes and teachers.

I miss those days. But also no desire to go back to school.

I like both Perplexity and Chatgpt when you immediately prompt it for resources and then ask it to highlight where you can find specific information in those resources.
Those instant question AI's where you ain't really even asking the AI it just wants to chime in are the worst though lol. Like googling something and right at the top of the google results, Google AI wants to get it's shit in, or going on Twitter and Grok wants to get it's shit in.
