Y'all remember the Linkin Park/Jay Z thing? MTV was supposed to do another one with Green Day and Ludacris.

The VMAs were over the weekend and I had no idea it even happened. The VMAs used to be the event of the season!

Just saw there's a WWE/AAA Worlds Collide show tomorrow on Youtube live from Vegas that's airing after Smackdown. It's gonna be at the Cox Pavillion which is a smaller arena attached to the Thomas and Mack Center, like 2000 people for wrestling, which could be a cool environment.

Don't know about this card though lol the 4 way for the Latin American Championship could be good.

Vikingo vs. Dirty Dom for the AAA Mega Championship

Pagano and Psycho Clown vs. The New Day for the AAA Tag Team Championship

Faby Apache vs. Nattie

Finn Balor and Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Dragon Lee vs Ethan Page vs JD McDonagh in a 4 way for the AAA Latin American Championship

and an 8 man tag full of a bunch of randoms including La Parka III, Nino Hamburguesa, the Filipino pretending to be Mexican in the LWO, Lince Dorado and others.

TNA's set up at the Cox Pavilion a few months ago. I dig buildings this size for wrestling shows.

I liked the Linkin Park/Jay Z stuff but Green Day plus Ludacris sounds like a disaster

I'm old enough to remember when they were just a joke comedy skit at first, like the Slammy's, then they suddenly become a real awards show that mattered in the 90's

I somehow lost my train of thought as I was typing this out, so yeah...

Can someone help me get home

Dom, New Day and Ethan Page are the new AAA champs, at least theyre not changing it too much

They should just go all out and introduce a new Gentrified Championship title belt with the main plate just being a picture of Nick Kahn holding a wad of bills and smiling like Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase

I know what you're thinking, Pete. "It's a noon kickoff, Roll, you're not gonna be grilling a ribeye at 10 AM."

EH-EH! I'm gonna be out there looking like the breakfast scene in Twister!

That's dedication to the gimmick and I love it, love everything about it!

RGR Lucha Libre basically operated as AAA's unofficial West Coast & Southwest offshoot promotion but those days are obviously coming to a close so they appear to have pivoted LoL

Things just remained interesting...

TNA is apparently now banning their wrestlers from appearing on Scott D'Amore's MLP shows because AEW wrestlers appear on the shows.

Moose said during an interview that TNA considers AEW "the enemy" and said he would love to work MLP shows but TNA won't allow him too because of AEW talent appearing.

Is TNA even getting paid for being WWE's bitch?
