Welp, its officially official, my bros, College Football is back in our lives!!

The best sport of all time starts back up this week and I can not wait another moment to celebrate!

I know not everyone in here has realized how amazing CFB is yet but for those that do, can we get a roll call of what team you ride with

I know ole @Frank23 the booze hound is all about the UConn Huskies

Then we got my homie @RollSonnenRoll and @DW=HERO as Alabamers

@Kowboy On Sherdog loves the Longhorns of Texas

I think @PRIDEWASBETTER is Miami, I think?

And then obviously you got me and @Stargazer Rex as tried and true, Go Blue, Mighty Michigan Wolverines Foe Life fans

I'm not sure what team @My Spot roots for but I'm sure they'll finish in last place anyways

<lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>

Thats all I can remember right now so who else we got in here?

Miami and my alma mater, East Carolina

Should be a good season for both. Both open the season with huge games. Looking forward to CFB being back.

That 80s drought. Were they all coked up?!
Bear Bryant retired in 82 and he was an impossible standard to replace. He also had slipped the last couple years as he aged so the program already wasn’t in as great of a place as it had been to compete with those coming dynasties in the 80’s

They asked him what he was gonna do now that he was retired after his last game, he said “I’ll probably croak in a week”

It was about 6

Might have to become a full fledged ASU fan this year since I'll probably be going to grad school there.

At 13

I almost escaped a children's psych ward at 13. Then the bastards caught me and wrapped me in blankets until I almost passed out and shackled me to a bed then drugged me.

Virtualy identical.

I wouldve loved to go to The Gathering in my younger and more vulnerable years, way too old for it now but it is definitely right up young ole Pete's alley

I spent a Summer living in a trailer park in Midland, Michigan when I was 15 years old and I'm sure some of those trailer trashes went on to become Juggalos so I'd probably run into a bunch of old friends there LoL

They were all "Crips" back then but that was before ICP existed, a buncha stereotypical trailer trash Joe Dirt's claiming Crip LoL

I was going to be insulted, but nothing you said was false Brother Pete.

Even the suburban w... *ahem "white boys with an identity crisis" were trying to claim sets...

At least the trailer park folks had to hustle to make money for all their shit so that i get, but the kids whos parents made more money than mine trying to act hood was hillarious. The blue collar kids usually beat their ass too, and had more guns at home.

Them Juggalos! Really was a bunch of harmless fun, I dabbled briefly to try and bang...um for reasons that made sense to a 14-15 year old...

Every year I just read about wild shit happening at the Gathering. Just seems like an overall angry and mean spirited vibe there. Tons of brawls, robberies, people OD'ing everywhere to the point they have narcan stations set up all over the place. Apparently at this one that just ended a guy was walking around spraying people with a water gun full of fentanyl laced water and 20 people had to go to the hospital and another guy had to get stretchered out after he got stomped out cause he was caught filming in the showers.

It just ain't my kind of vibe. I don't want to go to a festival and feel like I have to be on edge looking over my shoulder constantly for 3 days.

Probably like a lot of things 95% of the people are cool, but it's always that small percentage of douchebags that kill the vibe.
