It sucked to not be able to get that seat pic and share the stage view with y'all but overall I thought it really enhanced the experience. At one point we were in our seats waiting for things to start and I said I wonder what time it is and we both realized we couldn't look at our phones to see <lmao> We were lost in the world of the arena now and outside time constraints didn't matter!

The setup is so clean. I loved it. The logo in the box lights over the stage felt so retro. Made me think of the giant VH that would be behind Van Halen on stage

Yea, I do not care for that one bit

I can absolutely see the appeal of the no phone zone, especially at a concert where the communal experience is part of the enjoyment and would benefit greatly from everyone not being locked to their screens all night long but not being able to see who's calling or texting me in case of emergencies, uh uh, no way, Jose, I GOT A DOG THATS HOME ALONE FOR GEEZ SAKE!!


Plus, my ability to get lost and almost die at concerts is well documented, naw, I need my life line available to me at all times


Not to mention, all dem sweet nooks and crannies pics I would miss out on

Backstreet Boys are playing The Sphere this week and it looks like quite the affair, sold out houses as far as the eye can see and quite a bit of electric neon razzle dazzle to feast your eyes on

The Sphere is the perfect place for this kind of stuff cause it already looks like something out of a 90's music video already anyways LoL

I parked at a deck for Metallica called Diamond Deck. I had a misunderstanding that my ticket came with a parking pass(for the price it damn should have!) so I had to buy a pass day of and those were the only ones left. I really liked it. It's directly between the arena and the stadium so you easily get to both. I went for that pass again last night.

I didn't realize it's where the players and coaches for the Hawks park. I parked in Quin Snyder's reserved space lol

Anyways, you would have loved it. When you park there for an event at state farm you get your own fancy pants entrance and then they lead you through though the back channels of the arena and you walk out of the tunnel to get to the floor. From parking my truck to sitting in my seat was maybe 10 minutes, it was awesome.

They have a security guard about every 50 feet so you can't wander off but there was all kinda of nooks and crannies to look around at.

Oh, thats dope, definitely sounds like something I'd enjoy, I'd be wandering around opening every door I could before they got irritated with me LoL

At both the Oakland and San Jose arenas, the handicapped elevator to the arena floor lets you out in the backstage area and you gotta walk through the hallways like youre Hulk Hogan at MSG

In Oakland, no one gives a shit so you can literally get lost back there for hours if you want to, which I have done, but in San Jose they monitor you a bit more back there so it would be a bit harder to wander off the path, not impossible, though

Last time I was in San Jose for the Bone Thugs concert, I did the full pro wrestling entrance walking through the hallways and gave a loud ass WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! as soon as I walked through the curtain onto the arena floor, everyone in the arena turned and looked at us

I thought it was great, chick I was with was embarrassed LoL

I love it! It definitely looked like that. I wish I had thought about doing the Hulkster spin and point to the crowd/heavens as I walked out! Damn it!

@RollSonnenRoll I watched that Rick Rood vs Mr Wrestling 1 match last night, it wasnt the squash what I expected, Rood actually got a lot of offense in and was looking a whole lot better, skill wise, than just a few months earlier against The Roadies

Still had them chicken legs, though

The finish was weird, they were clearly heading to a time limit draw but the ring announcer just announced 10 seconds left and didnt do the countdown to 1 second after that, he just stayed silent, so Rood and 1 just stayed there motionless in the set up for a swinging neckbreaker for hecka long, waiting for the bell to ring so they could execute the finish LoL

Then, even weirder, the referee judged and decided to award the match to Rood instead of it just being a draw, never saw that before, even back in the olden days

Then 1 attacked Rood after the match so I guess he was the heel instead of Rood?

And he's teaming with 2 later on in the night to fight the heel Road Warriors?

I gotta dig deeper into this...
