Yeah no shot it was a work. A publicly traded company isn't going to purposely get their parent company shit on on every social media platform with thousands of "Fuck TKO" posts and not mention the "story" anywhere on any of their TV to make money off it. The "story" didn't exist in the canon of the TV shows.

They would've 100% had John Cena say he got Truth fired for stepping to him or something.

This is the only way it could have been a work. Cena saying, "Truth, your actions against me are going to have far reaching consequences" or something to that effect and THEN they post the news he got fired.

I saw a clip where Triple H said during the post show press conference "it was all part of the show"

Where? Where on the show was it part of?

If this is a work there's a lot of fans who watch their shows that don't follow Twitter or Reddit, there's actually normal human beings that consume their media that aren't mentally ill IWC people, are they gonna now spend time back tracking on RAW having to explain their social media "storyline"? lol

There's a lot of fans that last saw R-Truth fight Cena at SNME and just saw him come out to attack Cena that have zero idea any of this was happening and just think it's two guys fighting as normal. Some dads that casually watch with their kids have zero clue R-Truth's contract situation.

I'll be interested to see if the Ron Killings take on the character is more serious without all the weird comedy. I think he could still be a solid mid card guy even at 53
