Wonder why they were there (Angle was still WWF champ when it was taped and HHH was already with Steph IRL).

When did the Jarrets launch TNA, maybe this was in response to that

Who owned this promotion?

From the Wikipedia entry:

Terry Golden originally opened his Memphis-based promotion as Kick-Ass Wrestling, and it was later renamed to Memphis Championship Wrestling (MCW).

During June 2001 after the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) purchased World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the WWF dropped MCW as their developmental territory. Wrestlers were either sent to other developmental territories or fired, but they had to perform in the remaining scheduled MCW shows per their contracts.

Opened in February of 2000, closed mid-2001. Name doesn't ring a bell, but I can't say I'm knowledgeable on Memphis wrasslin'.

Question for the folks in here that lift and/or train. I checked the S&C board, a lot of good information but most of the links in the stickies are broken and some stuff is pretty outdated so you have to really dig to find good info. What are some good resources for somebody who wants to get into strength & conditioning training? My brain tends to be a sponge, so book/text-based would be great for reference, but videos and audiobooks are great too.

I know a little, but it's probably pretty dated and I'd like to start with a solid foundation. I'm currently hovering between 335-350lbs, walking almost 5 miles a day with weight during the week. I have a decently strong core and strong legs, but I'd like to really strengthen my core up to help with a recurring herniated disc in my back, and I'd like to work on my upper body.

I currently have a pair of 5lb kettlebells, two sets (total of up to 150lbs per set allegedly) of resistance bands with handles, and a press bar to connect them to for faux bench presses and squats at home. I also have a park near me with some built-in exercise equipment, but I will primarily be going to the YMCA close to my house. I'd like to get my conditioning up to the point of not completely embarrassing myself when I start training in a proper Boxing or MMA gym.

I'm focusing on functional strength and conditioning right now, but any solid resources or bits of advice are appreciated!

I wonder if he's related to Sterling Golden

I just thought of something, only a matter of time til a certain fashionable King's Youtube channels get struck down cause he has so much amazing old school Lucha Libre footage on there, that's gonna suck

Forgot it was Friday, this is the first live WWE weekly show I've watched in a minute.

OK, JC looks way better in the singlet.
