@RollSonnenRoll @Frank23 @My Spot has you guys ever heard of this Lucha Libre pilot that WCW filmed back in '99?

It popped up on my Youtube suggestions last night but I never heard of it before, i guess WWE Vault just found it in the warehouse, thats what I call perfect timing

I'm about 3 matches in so far, coulda done without the racist pandering in the beginning but the action is good and the crowd is hot as fuck


Nitro Girls salsa dancing with some Latin studs is best for business

A few classic Lucha Libre clusterfuckery moments in there, the spot where 8 different Luchadors keep jumping off the top rope 1 at a time and missing the splash is so dumb, you think they'd figure it out after the 3rd or 4th guy

Wonder if Eric Bischoff had "pork rinds" in the concession stand

Damn, no memory of this. You're right, crowd is crazy hot. I love the set too. I miss unique entrance sets in The Business

Watching it reminded me of how great the Luchadors were on Nitro, they added such a great unique element to that show and helped it feel so cutting edge and different from the WWF cartoony stuff, and they were over huge

Little thing but I always felt the way the WCW ring was mic'd added so much to the lucha matches. You could really hear the bumps and the speed of them

The WCW ring sounded more like it was made out of different metal pieces imo, gave it a sharper razzle dazzle for your ears as they bounced around in it, where the WWF ring sounded more like one solid piece and everything landed with a thud

Came with mario kart world. I wasn't gonna go out of my way to get one but once I started seeing them in the wild I would get one. I didn't expect to see them not sold out though!
