I just looked at NXT tickets for next week and was shocked how expensive they are. I'm going to Raw with my cousins on Monday but they're the most casual of the casual fans so NXT is too "indy" for them So basically I'd have to buy the tickets and they'd just come along. Cheapest one for 3 together on Ticketmaster were $100 each plus fees and then parking. I genuinely thought they'd be about $50 apiece max. A near $400 evening when I'm not even guaranteed to see my Nikkita and have an instant connection where we no doubt fall in love immediately is a tough pill to swallow

Anytime it is a TV taping the price goes up. Gotta pay the production people somehow.


And pay for catering for Nikkita.

They said we were close to where we were for Bad Blood cause they liked those seats so much. Hard camera side about 30 rows up in the corner. They got them, not me

Speaking of tickets, you all know how much ole Pete loves a carnival, well guess what else he loves, a circus!
Disney On Ice is running the Bay Area all of February, a different major arena each week from Sacramento down to San Jose and I was gonna get tickets for me and my blonde lady friend and her daughter, and I probably still might, but I saw this knockoff gimmick was also running the same theater here in town that I saw the midgets at last weekend so I figured I'd snatch up that same VIP table again

At first I was like maybe I'll stick with Disney On Ice but then I remembered how much I love the local rasslin and monster truck circuits over the big time operation so hopefully that policy holds true again

It looks like a fun little show and I know they ran the same theater last year and drew a good house but I wonder if they'll get crushed this year by running up against the House Of Mouse

Or maybe lotsa parents will tell their little tots that theyre going to the Disney gimmick thats being advertised everywhere and swerve their little asses by taking them here instead to save a few bucks LoL

Tampa Sun Dome is where the Hart Foundation won the tag straps from the British Bulldogs because that evil dastardly Jimmy Hart hit Dynamite Kid with his megaphone before the match and Davey Boy Smith had to wrestle both Hart Foundations by himself!

I think it was also the location of one of the first SNME shows, the one where theyre doing water slides and Terry Funk threatens to fry Hulk Hogan with his iron and then Hulk and Mean Gene drink that health shake and Gene starts hulking up


I agree, that Lawrence Taylor bit was really well done

Vince cutting to the replay but then halting the cut away to "stay here for a moment" was really a touch of reality not seen at the time. Very nice
