PWD PWD 1197: Road to The Rumble

I ended up going to the Italian spot on Friday night, its been there more years than I can count but I never been there so I was surprised at how crowded it was, the bar area was hoppin and boppin and almost impossible to walk through it was so crowded

Ran into a guy that I used to know 30 years ago when we were kids, he told me the last time we saw each other he was like 15 or 16 years old and I kicked him outta the car cause he was so damn drunk and couldnt handle his alcohol and the next time I see him we're a couple old men at a bar LoL

Food was really good, they had two different breads on the table with an amazing tomato & garlic olive oil to dip in, I got a Caprese salad for the table and it was delicious, they added kalamata olives to it and I love those

I got a pepperoni & mushroom pizza and my goth BBW got Fettucine Alfredo w mushrooms, everything was fresh with high quality ingredients, you could tell nothing came from a box or a can, all home made!

The pizza was wood fired, which I frickin love, but I wish they woula left it in the oven a minute or two longer, just a scootch under done for my tastes, I like a little more char on the crust, but it was still very tasty, legit the best pizza available in my town

My goth BBW said her fettuccine was great and I got a really good vibe from it as soon as they put it on the table, you could just tell it was high quality from the looks of the silky noodles and thick velvety cream sauce

They had an open kitchen so I was watching some of the other dishes when they came out and everything looked amazing, definitely going back for some chicken parm or a nice Italian ribeye

They had a great looking dessert menu, my goth BBW got tiramisu and it looked amazing but I didnt try it cause I already had 3 beers worth of sugar

Beer menu sucked

All in all it was a solid dinner and a place I'm gonna return to soon now that I know how great it is

The kid wins again

The midget rasslin show kinda sucked as a rasslin card but everyone I was with enjoyed it so thats good

It started off with a clip show of funny midget moments in media throughout the years, setting the tone and letting you know we're here to have fun and laugh at us midgets as we play the fool for your amusement

The MC was some guy named Billy Blade and he said he was part of The Brood with Gangrel in WWE but I got a sneaky suspicious that he was carny-ing us, he warned everyone that this was a non PC show so if youre gonna get offended by that kinda stuff then you should prolly just leave now, then he told several off color jokes to prove it

Then they announced that they support America, first responders, etc. and played the National Anthem

It was nice to see everyone in this building rise for the anthem which didnt happen last time I was at this show in Berkeley

That was the night I had two douchebags staying seated right in front of me and making snarky remarks as the anthem played so I started singing it as loud as I could right behind them into their ears, they got the message and stayed silent after that LoL

Speaking of Berkeley, sometime during the show the MC talked about how they ran 5 successful sellout shows in a row in Berkeley but then one person filed a complaint before their 6th show that this was harmful and offensive to midgets so that show got cancelled and thats why they stopped running that town

Then Bridget The Midget came out and sang two nu-metal/punk rock/death metal whatever songs that were frickin terrible, she legit sounded like a cat getting murdered as she screamed at the top of her lungs and had seizures around the ring

First match was a Boston Irish mob guy midget vs 25 Cent, who is the most popular guy on the circuit, he does a midget 50 Cent gimmick and he also played midget Mike Tyson in the carny lead up to the Tyson vs Paul war for the ages

This match lasted like 30 minutes and they did all kinds of nonsense like sticking plungers up each others asses and running through the theater so they could slam each others heads into all the Jiggle Jennie's in the crowd and motorboat the shit out of em, they did it to several women and everyone was a good sport about it

They came over to our VIP box and told one of my adult nephews to raise his foot so they could use his boot as a ring post for a 10 count head smash, he got a thrill outta that

Next match was a surprise as WWE rassler Brian Kendrick came out to fight Lil Joker(cholo gimmick from Next Friday)

Then it was time for the main event which was a battle royale with the 3 midgets and Brian Kendrick, thats right, only 3 matches and 3 midgets actually working the show plus Bridget and a midget ref, thats not a lotta midgets imo

Then they did the carny stuff, auctioned off getting hit by a midget with a signed trash can(someone paid 450 bucks for that) and a trash can lid(that went for 120 bucks) and finally a long line of people paid 20 bucks a pop to climb in the ring and get hit with an aluminum pizza tray, you got to pick the midget that hit you and keep the tray, I wanted to get that for Junior but his dad always rushes out the door after the last match and never stays for the post show celebrations

Lots of kids got the $20 smash and the MC made sure to get loud audible confirmation from each parent right before they walloped their kid right upside the head, a few parents were like fuck that hit his ass harder LoL

We left before the photo ops cause we got our photo with Bridget The Midget before the show started

All in all, it was a good night with family and everyone enjoyed themselves so thats all that counts

Oh wait, we had an 11 person VIP box and my adult nephews were ordering so many rounds of drinks nonstop that we basically had our own private waitress and they were tipping so big that the other waitresses were getting jealous, two of them tried to come over and ask if we needed a drink order from them too LoL

Our waitress was loving it, after awhile she started doing the fake laugh and flirting with my nephews cause they were spending so much, she was trashy fuckable so I dont know why they didnt bag her cause they definitely could've

They announced a return date for May and my group said they wanted to come back so we probably will

This was my goth BBW's first ever time at a rasslin show and she said she enjoyed it and is down for more so I may take her to an Oasis Pro show next month

We'll see...

A lotta people consider that to be the best Royal Rumble ever, Sara, but ole Pete never cared too much about the Rumble so I got no opinion on the matter

They still use the pandemic as an excuse for bad ticket sales on my movie news podcasts, I dont even think theyre working either, I think them Hollywood writer @Bix types still be worried about that shit

Speaking of the movie tickets, Mufasa took the #1 spot back this weekend, the lion is still king after 5 weeks in theaters

I guess September 5 is only playing in like 120 theaters which is why I cant go watch it at my local movie house


Word is there was a really funny movie that came out this week but nobody knows about it cause the movie studio isnt advertising it, I just watched the trailer and it looks legit, kinda like a female Friday

It took second place, which is pretty good for a pure comedy, and especially for a pure comedy with no real big names

Probably woulda took 1st over a 5 week old movie if they advertised it

I never heard of it before 10 minutes ago but now I wanna see it after watching the trailer, just checked to see if I could make the times work tomorrow with Den Of Thieves 2 but alas, it was not to be

I just saw a trailer for it a couple days ago but that's it. It looks like it could be funny. There better be an onlyfans joke in there for why 2 young semi-attractive women can't get money they need <lmao>

I do think it interrupted people going to the theatre and they got used to watching movies at home. The studios also have it on streaming fairly soon after a theatre run so that's always in the back of your mind. Once I didnt see Gladiator 2 int he first two weekends, it was already in my mind "I'll just stream it"

He put out a new one last week too but it was obvious from the title that it was another pure AI generated fantasy gimmick one like CRISPR so I didnt even mention it on here
