@Pliny Pete I don't know if you're on Twitter but Beau is posting a bunch of old programs and stuff on there.

I have one Crockett program from when they ran the Civic Auditorium in San Francisco in '88 or '89, I dont remember who's on the cover but I think it still has the paper insert with all the night's matches, I'm gonna look for it today

I didnt go to the show but my buddy did and he gave me the program

Good lord, they ran syndication at midnight?
Can't blame Jim Herd or George Scott, they weren't even there yet.

Im guessing it was World Wide Wrestling because that show used to be on like 11 or 11:30 pm or maybe even 12:30 am on KTSF26 which was the Asian language station
Man, I was so excited when I first discovered that show, it was so much better than WWF syndicated or JCP studio show, so raw and gritty, I always used to fall asleep watching it or waiting for it to come on though

UWF Power Pro was on KBHK44 at like 11:30 on Sunday night so I never ever got to watch that one, my best friend at the time would always tell me about it and I would be so envious that he got to see it

Pro and Worldwide aired here at 9:00 AM Sat and Sun morning on our CBS affiliate.

JCP used to have an hour long 6 am studio show on Saturday mornings also that people never talk about for some reason
I would always wake up at like 5 am in plenty of time to watch it, go out into the living room, turn on the tv, lay on the couch and promptly fall back asleep before 6 am and then wake up again at like 7:30, I would do that every single weekend!

I missed out on the Pedicino block, it was done by the time we moved to Atlanta. :(

I used to so jealous of that block when i would read about it in the magazines
And it aired on Saturday evening too so you didn't have to worry about getting up for school in the morning. SIX consecutive hours of rasslin. All over the air on channel 17 (TBS) and channel 36 (future WB affiliate).

You can see it, Bruno has jealous eyes!

Have you ever seen this interview from a legit sports talk show in the 1970's?
At 9 minutes he asks Bruno about gimmicks which leads to some awesome footage of Gorgeous George wrestling at a carnival and that then we get into the "fixed" question which Bruno kayfabes the fuck out of, obviously

He had some good, logical answers for why there are lavish characters, why there are storylines and the kayfabe answer was really solid.
