And thats a wrap here. Neighborhood was a ghost town by 9. Really disappointing turnout this year. I get that it's Thursday night but just no buzz or excitement in the air. No wrestling costumes again :mad: As usual, Harley Quinn dominated the girls costumes. Saw a ton of them. Lots of Woody and Buzz as well, I don't know if there's some resurgence that I'm missing here or it's still that over, brother. Batman and Loki remain some of the most popular boys costumes.

Extra candy costumes of the night were a girl Freddy Krueger and a boy as Black Mask. That was a good one

We had two trick-or-treaters. Two!

We didn't dress up in skeleton pajamas and get two bags of the good stuff for this... We live in a subdivision with like 200 houses right on top of one another and I see kids out playing around the neighborhood all the time. Have "trunk or treat" type events ruined this world?

I think so. I noticed walking around that just not a lot of houses were giving out candy either.

I'm really glad I didn't get that second Costco-sized bag of candy. I only passed out about 3/4 of the bag I had

Sad turnout this year. Had a mom cuss me out about the fireworks. That was kinda fun.

Halloween was an event growing up. Now it’s an afterthought. A sad state this country is in.

Actually hit triple digits this year. Doubly impressive since we got our first rain on over a month.

Kids didn't give a fuck about water.

Most kids get an iPad shoved in their face where they can find anything now. These two boys were rummaging through the candy bucket and one goes "oh, man , did you get the last fucking Twix?!" I was taken back <lmao>
