My whole guild has unsubbed over the guild bank data loss bullshit & super store mount at this point and Lady Clinch and I were talking earlier today about how much nicer the FF14 playerbase is.

Hell, I read people are trolling that dude’s in-game grave area at this point too.. just total shit behavior.

I want to like FF14, I go back to it a couple of times every expansion, but usually only last a month.

The visual vomit on the screen in the raids and the way they determine how you get hit by mechanics is always too weird for me. Like, they'll put an area notification that fire is about to come, you'll get out of the area, the fire will come and you'll clearly be out of the area, but somehow it'll still hit you and take your health or kill you lol. You're supposed to basically just get used to it and move instantly and only react to indicators and that the animations have nothing to do with the actual mechanics.

I'm way too used to WoW where if the fire comes out, that's when you get hit. In FF14 the animations are just for visuals. It makes me insane lol

I used to get drunk and buy a shitload of gold from Chinese gold farmers then stand at the gates of Stormwind and randomly pass it out. So I was kind of balanced. I threatenes to kill people playing wow but also was generous to strangers. The Duality of Man.

And when she gets pizza she throws the cheese away and just eats the crust and sauce. Ya know I'm pretty fucking weird myself so who am I to judge? All I know is she better like Churro and Peanut. That's a test and she doesn't even know it! I'll be silently judging her on that!

Blizzard done pissed me off this time though. I’ve taken breaks with shitty expansions or during a content drought, but I’m having a hard time getting over Blizzard being okay with losing shit that should be recoverable and not wanting to put the effort in with getting it back.

The $90 mount is so fucking stupid. It bugs me how many people buy it too. The streets of all the cities have been lined up with them since they came out.

The only thing that has kept me playing as been running raids and m+ keys with the boys. But I ran out of homies about a year ago and luckily found that Discord I was talking about earlier. It's a great place to pug raids and m+ with rules in place to keep toxic fucks out, so if this Discord says fuck it and shuts down over this Reddit shit, I might finally be done. I really don't have the energy to find a new guild or community to play with who aren't toxic fucktards.
