Jackie Earle Haley was terrible casting, I loved him in Watchmen, but he wasn't a great choice for Freddy. When they made the character a pure chomo instead of a child serial killer on top of casting a guy who is like 5'3" 120lbs. soaking wet, it was just a complete mess. Guy wasn't scary at all.

One of my friends back in the day said Freddy looked like Sissy Spacek in the movie and I couldn't unsee it after that

I never appreciated abs on a woman until I got older and looked around and everyone was fat! The nice thing about them is you don't need them super ripped to look good. Just some definition goes a long way if you got some other things going your way.
