The finish for the night was Time from Inception.
 


I wasn’t sure he’d do any of the remakes he’s scored that he didn’t write the themes too, like Maverick. He unfortunately didn’t to the iconic Top Gun theme but he started his encore with the Bond theme from No Time to Die and the place lost their shit. It was the closest it got to big party concert atmosphere with every done dancing and jamming along. The Bond theme has been over for 50 years, brother
 
Just like he had the original singer from Gladiator, he had the original tribal singer guy from The Lion King. The high spot of the night was definitely that Circle of Life intro. Big time pop. The Circle of Life right into the big finish for King of Pride Rock was a damn near spiritual experience. Chills

Great seats, perfect dead center view of all the action
Why does the floor look so empty, was there lots of unsold seats or did they just have it configured that way

It’s just configured that way. They had the chairs set up to have really wide aisles because Hans or the band had a couple songs where they walked around the floor playing. There was also these interpretive dancers during the Dune portion.

I haven’t seen Dune yet but holy shit, that song was awesome

He also cut a promo that sometimes you work really hard on a score and you absolutely love it but then the movie is crap lol. He said this one is one of my favorites to plays even if you didn’t like the movie. I was really hoping it was about to be the Pearl Harbor theme that I absolutely love but it was Dark Phoenix. Again, not a movie I’ve seen but the song was fantastic. Just full chaos and madness for 10 minutes

I only seen part of the first part of Dune, the score was really good, so were the costumes and the set pieces, story was just so dang boring
