Dude's been putting in the work. Good for him.
I'm glad it was him as well. Apparently he's not waiting until Wrestle Kingdom to challenge Naito and he'll be doing it in October.

Him and Tsuji was a decent finale to the tournament and I really hope they see the potential Tsuji has.

I like Naito a lot but his body seems a bit broken, not Tanahashi levels just yet but it's getting there.

If Gedo will experiment with Evil getting a title reign maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to give ZSJ one come October. If it somehow doesn't work out Wrestle Kingdom is around the corner.

Young Bell coming outta the 3 hole today and Austin Dillon rounding out the top 10, I'll be rooting for them both today!
In spirit, since I'll be at the movies during the race, bad planning on my part

It's weird how 2000 WWF was so good yet WM sucked that year.

They really lost the spectacle aspect of Wrestlemania between 9 and 17. All those shows just look like a regular PPV with a Wrestlemania sign somewhere

Besides 17, All the AE WM’s sucked.
I mean it makes sense that 15 sucked because that period was Russo on steroids (even though I love the first 6 months of 1999) since Vince was busy getting ready to go public. Crash TV was the name of the game. If we're being honest most of the PPVs in 98 and 99 sucked outside of whatever Austin was doing.
Whereas almost every other PPV in 2000 was good to great except for WM. Even with all these guys on the same card:

Angle
Benoit
The Dudleys
Eddie
Edge and Christian
Foley
The Hardys
HHH
Jericho
Kane
Rock

And still a shit event. With a shit crowd in Anaheim (at least 14 was in Boston and 15 was in Philly).
