Fun story about that show. The Leaving Song 2 was on the Madden 04 soundtrack. It was my favorite song on the game. Pre-YouTube, pre-smartphone, if you didn’t hear a song on the radio and the DJ tell you what it was then it might as well have never existed! For years that song was stuck in my head. You’d ask around in school “hey, man, you play Madden what’s the ‘break! Down!’ song??” No one ever knew. 2 years later, I’m at this concert, no idea who AFI is, and they play that song right after they opened and I lose my damn mind. This damn instant gratification generation will never understand!

@Based God I'm a little hot that they have the audacity to gracefully age and mature

Hulk Hogan still wears red and yellow tank tops every day. Ric Flair still wears a loud suit to a pizza parlor on a Sunday afternoon. You look like this forever, pal!

I loved AFI in high school, favorite band and all that. They lost me when HavoK cut his hair (not quite, but I disliked Ms. Murder and such, and he cut it around then I think)

Yeah, he had that weird cut where it was short but swooped half in front of his face. There's definitely a big change at Miss Murder. They cashed in on the emo-pop that was hot at the time. I could see it turning off long time fans. I liked Sing The Sorrow the most, it was a good mix of their punk rock and like a gothic rock gimmick. That album is the sweet spot for me. Too punk for my tastes before it and too pop rock-ish after it

Trying to find a gif, but Sareee was super stiff when she recently teamed up with Giulia against Yuzuki and Kizuna.

@RollSonnenRoll @My Spot I like this video cause its at a FAMU tailgate and boy does it look like they party, brings back some fun memories, I bet young ole Pete woulda enjoyed the HBCU experience, I coulda vibed with these folks and they woulda loved me, Im sure of it!

Seems like the kid's got two spots. Grill show-off, bird flip, rinse and repeat. His voice annoyed me at first but it grew on me and I liked it by the end.

I appreciated the girl in the orange dress, no doubt about it.

There is absolutely a Higher Power watching us and helping us out along the way, I am living proof of his Blessings in so many ways, there is no doubt about that, but I also think a lot of the bad luck that befalls addicts, myself included, is the constant bad decisions and, more importantly, the energy that you greet each day with
Sad, dark, pathetic energy isnt gonna have you ready to face any challenge, no matter how small, and your daily life results will show that loud and clear

Yeah. Those are what I'd consider the biological or material cause and effect from drugs and alcohol. They make you feel like shit and imbalance your brain chemicals causing you to act out of character, bringing bad things into your life. I feel like there is a spiritual aspect to that too and that has to be addressed to fully recover from addiction. Just stopping the use isn't enough all the time. I think I did it the right way. I went scorched earth on myself because I didn't know what was actually causing me to be an alcoholic. So everything had to be purged and it sucked. My mind almost broke because of it but it worked. I learned so much about not only myself but other people and I met some interesting forces along the way. Some nice and some not so nice. Way too much to write about here but I got a basic course in some fundamental Universal truths. Many were through pain and suffering. But it was worth it. The chains were broken. And I'm grateful for that. It doesn't always happen like that. You've probably heard of the term "dry drunk". Alcoholics Anonymous has a lot of them. They are people who were able to stop abusing alcohol but are still miserable and unhappy people. Good things don't happen to them still even though they physically stopped drinking. I have a hunch it's because they haven't done the mental and especially spiritual work. The powers that be haven't blessed them because they still haven't learned. The alcohol isn't really the problem it's them. They need to die and have a rebirth. Face their fears. If you do it right you will be rewarded. It's hard because most people are scared of death especially an addict who is dancing with it already. I ran from it for so long but it's not as it seems.

That's just a little bit of where I'm at right now. Most of my beliefs are from my first hand experience but I know that I'm just an initiate into these things. At the end of the day all I know is I don't know for sure. I have no issue changing my beliefs as I acquire new information. I'm not sure why I've been exposed to some of things I have been but at the end of the day I want to help and be a good person. I want to be the classic whitemeat babyface lol. I don't know if that is in the cards for Ol Rex but we'll see what happens when it's all said and done.

Has Bone Crusher gracefully aged and matured?
