I just mean that he was a great young talent that wouldve been an uppercard guy during the 80's rasslin boom and national expansion and had a good career well into the 90's, but he was way too undependable cause of his addictions so he spent the prime of his career in bingo halls instead of big arenas

After this upcoming match against Shawn Michaels that hes talking about, the WWF brought him in for some shots but he slipped on some ice outside of an arena and hurt himself badly and needed surgery and was never the same again, I dont if drugs played a part in that or not but people in the know say it was purely bad luck

Shawn Michaels legit cheap shotted Buddy at the start of their match and knocked him for a loop and Buddy had trouble clearing his head all match long so he couldnt put on the performance he had planned to

More bad luck for Buddy and another story about how Shawn was an asshole back then

Dang. That's some sad lore there. I really can't stand what drugs and alcohol abuse does to someone. There is a lot of things at play with it, or course we need be strong and not allow ourselves to get into such a weakened state, though. I've seen in myself and others who become addicts is there is a certain price you have to pay for your transgressions on a spiritual level. It's sucks but the toll must be paid. When I was an alcoholic I couldn't buy a break. It was "bad luck" all the time. Thankfully, when I sobered up I started unblocking my blessings again. But, yeah, there is some weird business going on with the higher powers when you become an addict. I feel like it depends on how much you truly learn and how high you raised your consciousness after an addiction that determines how blessed you will be. Idk though, I'm just a man who thinks they are a tiger lol.

@My Spot Just heard that Buddy Landel promo on BTS, holy moley, wow what a promo!!
That was some powerful stuff, every word of it a shoot too, 100% true, its a damn shame that Buddy was Buddy cause he coulda been so much more in the rasslin bidness, there is absolutely no doubt about it
@RollSonnenRoll you gotta check this one out
@Stargazer Rex I think you may appreciate parts of it also

The Skynyrd reference gave me goosebumps. Goosebumps!

Conrad made a point of brining up this week that to this day Shawn signs autographs by drawing a dick

There is absolutely a Higher Power watching us and helping us out along the way, I am living proof of his Blessings in so many ways, there is no doubt about that, but I also think a lot of the bad luck that befalls addicts, myself included, is the constant bad decisions and, more importantly, the energy that you greet each day with
Sad, dark, pathetic energy isnt gonna have you ready to face any challenge, no matter how small, and your daily life results will show that loud and clear

This is summer of 95 when Buddy actually got sober. He had some dark matches on Raw and Superstars after SMW ended in December but slipped on a patch of ice and broke his leg. And that was the end of sober Buddy.

Thats what I wasnt sure of, if he got back on the goof balls after his surgery

Trap comes out today, I'd like to see that in theaters before it gets spoiled, wouldnt mind doing a double feature with Twisters if Im being honest

I ain’t forgot about Twisters either! Maybe twisters Friday and Deadpool Sunday. We’ll see what happens!
Twister was not as good as I wanted it to be. It’s a movie about tornadoes. We can be a little light on story. The fire twister didn’t live up to expectations.

Glen did shine. He has a million dollar smile. Hollywood needs to realize he’s the next Tom Cruise, but not a midget.

He's the guy. Strap the rocket to him. I'm greatly looking forward to his Running Man remake. I'm perfectly fine is his career is just sequels and remakes of films I loved as a kid

I was disappointed to learn he turned down a role in the next Jurassic Park because he's tailor-made to play a guy in the jungle with a cowboy hat hunting a raptor

Looks like Logan Paul is learning you don't say shit about the letter and pronoun people.

I didnt know they were remaking Running Man, Im sure it will have none of the charm and charisma of the original, just like that stupid Robocop remake

That entire argument is legit mind boggling. Both sides arguing about that boxer aren't even arguing the correct shit. Somehow trans people keep getting brought into too when the person isn't trans. This boxer situation might be the dumbest culture war fight in a really long time, which is saying something.

Both sides are idiots.
