You may remember not too long ago I posted that they changed the territories in my son's league. They took one high school out and added one. The one they added has the number 1 guy at 190(the weight my son will probably wrestle next season), he's a Big 10 commit. Well, last week at match night someone told my son that kid got into an argument with his coach and threw him and put him in the hospital! And apparently that kid's parents are on the wrestling board for the high school. Tonight all the schools in the area were supposed to have match night at that kid's high school but it got canceled.

Damn, kid sounds like a monster, putting his coach in the hospital may affect that fancy pants ride to the Big 10, though, this aint the SEC, ya know

Just like when Magnum TA punched NWA president Bob Geigel and got stripped of the US Title which led to the legendary Best Of 7 Series against Nikita Koloff in the Summer of '86 which turned them both into huge stars

Maybe your kid can channel that energy and topple this beast and become the hero to the whole league in his senior year

And I thought this was a good kid, too. He had a brother who was really good also. They were Italian kids. This kid was way more aggressive than his brother but I never thought anything of it because that's wrestling. My son has talked with him before and said he was a pretty nice kid. Hopefully, it's not true and it's just high school kids saying high school kids stuff. It sucks because I wanted him to get some matches in this summer with that kid but he's been MIA. He's going to destroy my son but it's still good practice.

I hope it didn't happen. That's what I told my wife, if Maryland finds out about this and it's true that kid could mess up his ride. A lot of these coaches aren't young guys used to taking bumps, Pete. A D1 level 200 pound wrestler throwing you could mess up anybody. I hope it's not any anger issues from any external sources, if ya know what I mean. I watched this kid for years now. He went from 160 to 190 in like 6 months. All lean muscles too.
