Last night caused quite the stir in the lake house. Was watching with the kids and wife, a wholesome family get together. When it started I was like okay they are going spooky but it’ll be alright for the kids. By the time it got to gable I knew the shit was going to hit the fan.

I had to have several talks with my kids.

Talk number 1 the fiend/ bray Wyatt is dead and not due to wrestling.

Talk number 2 everything they saw was pretend. Gable isn’t dead or anything like that. Basically the wrestling is fake talk

I think this faction will have legs and last at least a couple years with triple h and Bruce handling the creative. I think it depends largely on Bo Dallas and how good a talent he is.

Depends if they go all out retard with them, like they did with The Fiend. Some might argue that they perhaps already have, with them straight up murdering people and all. Little much...

And then there's the rule of supernatural gimmicks never working out for anyone but The Undertaker. It's a pretty tough balancing act. Like watching "Nightmare On Elm Street", where at the end, after Freddy has murdered a bunch people in their dreams, he strips down to his underwear and wrestles the final girl to settle the score.

Even though it was over the top, it was a pretty cool introduction all in all. Don't know how they're gonna keep that momentum with the group, but the debut was fun. I really hope it works out for Nikki Cross. She's a trooper that deserves a bit of break. Of all of them, I thought she had the coolest look of the group. Might've found her niche.

I hope it works out for Nikki too. She's had some pretty bad gimmicks in the past few years. As it stands now though I hate this gimmick. Wyatt couldn't keep the gimmick fresh for long so I doubt they will be able to do it, but I hope I am wrong. Let's do something different though...if we're going to recycle gimmicks out of the Wyatt family that may not last long can we at least recycle this gimmick

Maybe the best way for them to be heels, and get a tonne of heat is for them to basically try to hijack Bray's legacy.

In the attitude era, there was this transition period for Undertaker where they were moving away from "Undertaker is the Prince of Darkness, he has the devil magic" to what basically amounted to "Mark Callaway has lost his god damned mind, he really thinks he's the Lord of Darkness, and the fact that he has people believing him scares the shit out of me!"

So, basically do the same thing, basically say "Bo Dallas has gone through a traumatic experience, and he's lost his mind". Which can then explain the likes of Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis joining in, having never really had anything to do with Bray, where Bo Dallas has convinced them that he's the new embodiment of Bray Wyatt.
