It took us a couple days but we watched Baywatch 2017. That wasn't nearly as bad as the hacks online led me to believe

Way ahead of you! I did pop at the end of the movie when they bring in Pam Anderson, saying she'd been heading up the Hawaii division. Should have been a Baywatch Nights reference somewhere in the movie though.

I'm a bit of a Baywatch mark

I reread it a few years ago and wish I didn't. There's a part where it's summer of 97 and him and Owen have a bet to see who can get Austin to break character and laugh during the house show loop (Austin and Foley were tag champs feuding with Bulldog and Owen). But he convinced Owen to pause it during the San Jose show because he knew Meltzer would be there and he was worried about getting "ripped to shreds in the dirtsheets."

Yeah that was one of the matches.
I just don't understand why he should've given a shit about Meltzer at the time. He's living the dream, tag champs with the hottest guy in the company, and WWF business had turned around that summer. And yet he's worried about the "underground dirt sheets"...it was disappointing to read that he was already a baby back then. And he did the dick spot with Joey Ryan.

The three chicks in the movie are better than anything the original Baywatch had. Four of you count the villain girl married to the Jonas brother.
