@RollSonnenRoll that adorable little duck cartoon has quietly banked 200 million dollars at the box office and that rom com I wanna see that came out a few weeks ago, Anyone But You, has hit 100 million, it had a horrible opening weekend but then its box office started going up instead of down in its second and third weeks based on word of mouth, its now a certified hit

I love it, love everything about it, hopefully the stupid studio execs start to remember that a full slate of mid budget movies can also be profitable and they start to throw a few more of em in theaters

We've gotten several of em this past month and its been great, the strikes over the last summer are gonna have the first few months of this year lacking in big releases, plus the retooling at MCU and the DCEU constant drama are leaving a wide open opportunity for all these movies that were planned for streaming over the next to go to theaters and draw some real fucking money instead

Lets get off our asses and make this happen people!!
