I'm thinking about just adopting a cat from petsmart and then dealing with my wife afterwards. She'll have to just deal with it, it's not like she is allergic to them or anything.

That was Q Tip. He came from a foster home where he lived with his siblings and a bunch of kids so he was super relaxed and friendly. I petted his paw through the cage and he didn't even open his eyes from his nap! That feline was emotionally mature and in his power, no doubt about it.

I've been hoping she would just surprise me with it for my birthday or Christmas. I didn't even start asking about a cat until I sobered up almost 3 years ago. My 3 year mark is coming up in April. If she doesn't get it for me then I don't think she ever will. Ol Rex will have to take matters into his own hands then, BG.
