AJ read my comment last night on the After Files but he completely no sold my hilarious joke about last night being the 50th anniversary of Large Marge's death, I popped his brother Gino though, still not worth 10 bucks
@My Spot a podcast host finally said my name correctly on the first try so I guess it wasnt all a waste

Edit : apparently you cant timestamp Youtube vids no more on this stupid forum so jump to 1:07:23 to relive the magic

Im watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure right now in honor of the homie Large Marge, this is such a damn good movie, its easy to dismiss it as childs buffoonery but everything about this film is perfectly crafted and each scene has a few different layers to it, so many small details in the background to give you small little pops along the way
Good job, Paul Reubens and Tim Burton, good job indeed

I saw an interview with Paul Reubens how he said that neither he nor any of the writers knew how to write a screenplay so they literally bought a book about how to write scripts and went step by step. He said it's a 90 minute movie and a 90 page script. "I lose my bike on page 30, I find it page 60, it ends on page 90" <Lmaoo>. So he credited that to why it's such a tight plot and timeless. Cause they had zero ego and followed the most basic storytelling principles.

I'm watching the Royal Rumbles, I'm currently on the 90 Rumble, and iI forgot how much I liked the no music approach to the entrances. Especially when you consider they started with the music, and then gave up half way through.

@Pliny Pete I knew the were gonna get greedy and ruin that magical, feel good sendoff! Damn it!

I thought maybe cause its Tom Cruise, he might refuse to do another cause he knows this one was perfect and he didnt wanna damage that but I guess even hes not immune to the powers of the magical Brinks truck

And when I say perfect, I mean the way it was received by the masses and the status it has now in history, the film was great except for that fucking buddy comedy bit towards the end

I hope he got that Jack Nicholson Joker deal where they offered him a percentage and can net just a stupid amount of money. That's the only accpetable reason!
