@Pliny Pete What I thought was impossible happened - I was finally entertained by a Jimmy Valiant segment. Him and Pez are being interviewed by David Crockett and Jimmy says, "this man right here is the greatest black athlete in all of wrestling!" So Pez immediately beat the shit out of him and cut off his stupid ponytail beard and of course David Crockett is being David Crockett and screaming like a lunatic.

Benoit was walking out on Monday anyway so Sullivan tried to give him the belt on his last night on Sunday at the PPV as a hail mary to get him to stay, they did a fuckery finish in case he did walk out though with Sid having his foot under the rope when he tapped out. On Monday Nitro when he did in fact walk out, they said on TV his title win didn't count cause of Sid's foot being under the rope and he was never officially WCW Champion.


WWF acknowledged him as a former World Champion when he showed up though and restored his one day reign when WWF bought out WCW.

All of poor Jimmys friends turned on him one by one in that feud that never ended, prolly still going on to this day in some warehouse in Virginia

I remember I was stunned by Pez's betrayal at the time and thought he was evil as fuck lol

When the Giants won the 2010 World Series I spent hella money buying championship gear for all my family though, my mom and all my nieces and nephews were walking around head to toe in dat sweet SF drip
 
I bought me a Sports Illustrated subscription cause thats when they used to do those championship season highlights videos for every team that won it all in the major sports leagues
