In 2005, Operation Red Wings took effect in Afghanistan. The mission objective involved the SEALs killing or capturing Taliban leader Ahmad Shah. But the strategy did not go according to plan and the SEALs became ambushed by local Taliban villagers in the mountains. A U.S. helicopter ends up being shot down in the fighting.

Afterward the only surviving SEAL was Marcus Luttrell. There is also a book based on the events that happened in Afghanistan. I recommend the film
