I am not a fan of Joey Ryan and think he sucks but reading the comments is a little ridiculous. I think he is accused of being a lower level Weinstein and maybe he banged an 17 or 18 year old I dont know about but they are acting like he is a straight up

I didnt watch wrestling from like 2010 to 2019 so I have went back and started watching the NXT takeovers from the beginning and holy shit they were some stacked shows with red hot crowds. On takeover 5 and have really enjoyed the shows so far.

He didn't bang a 17 year old. He worked a program with a 17 year old during the height of his dick flip gimmick and apparently they were working towards her turning 18 to actually dick flip her. It was a dumbass long comedy indy storyline and nobody was mad about it until Joey Ryan got called out for being a creep to other women. Then later the girl and other people claimed the storyline was "grooming".
I'm more annoyed people, including that girls parents, allowed a sexual dick flip storyline with a teenager to begin with and how all of the popular indy wrestlers kept working with this dude, when apparently him sexually harassing women was the worst kept secret in the business.

Before his dick flip gimmick I remember PWG fans use to get so pissed when he was booked against a good opponent. You knew it was wasting whoever he was facing.
The dick flip gimmick was needed for his career but I guess it was ultimately part of his downfall. Ha

LMAO I just rewatched that gut check segment for the first time in years. It looked like Joey Ryan was about to cry when Taz was burying him. His voice even cracked a little when he was yelling at Taz saying "you're just a commentator" while Taz was on the mic telling him like it is.
