I wonder with how much GiGi is getting over, if the end goal is that she breaks away from mandy.

I bet she smells like meth smoke and cigarette store perfume

Kevin Steen/Owens has been in my top 2(of 5) wrestlers the last decade, I laughed to myself a few times today, thinking about the KO/Austin segment. I just watched it again, and watching how the crowd marked out(both times) was just as hilarious tonight as it was last night. It was a masterful promo.

No it wasn't. Same old recycled stuff

Really? You didn't enjoy it at all?

I smiled when he first came out and when he did the what chants but that's it. He didn't sound like Austin and he used the same fake out HBK did in Montreal. I think when they showed Austin will be on the KO show and not wrestling left me a little bitter about this whole thing.

I haven't seen the segment in question, but that HBK fake out was damn near twenty years ago now. I think it's been long enough

I saw my YouTube recommendations filled with "Undertaker Doubles Down" and shit like that, and it's almost exactly the same reaction to the Rogan thing. Willfull misinterpretation of what he's saying to make their snarky comments. Undertaker said "The younger guys are the comic book/superhero generation, that's what they're inspired by, they didn't have to bust heads in bars, and worry about where their next meal is coming from",

They're acting as if he's saying "These new guys come from priveleged backgrounds" and attacking him on that and not "These guys get coddled and pampered today, back when I was doing it, we were having to fight in bars, and get paid so little there were nights we didn't eat, and because of that, the grit is missing from the product".

It's always interesting to see guys who look like this talking shit from a same distance.

Agreed.

It keeps coming back to the Rogan podcast that Taker did. Instead of taking what the guy who was on top for over 30 years and applying it to their own career, they took it personally, took to Twitter and bitched and complained about it because he basically said "Put down the video games, don't concern yourself with being pretty and polished, and figure out how to get over passed the point of 'These guys on the internet say I'm good', and act like a man".

Then, they basically proved his point in the fallout, even going as far as willfully misinterpreting him to get their snarky comments out (from a safe distance, of course) to get the social media dopamine hit, because, like he said "The guys on the internet like me".

Well internet is heaven for mediocre fellas. They wil tell them all they want to hear, they should be main eventing Wrestlemania and the fed are doing them dirty. Therefore you have a bunch of people that can´t draw flies to shit actually believe they should be in a feature match with Brock Lesnar instead of being on the opening match for WWE Velocity (or whatever it´s called today).

Back in the day they didn´t deal with this kind of entitlement, Disco Inferno and Norman Smiley didn´t have some mark telling them they are being greatly misused and Hogan should be putting them over, so guys were either cutthroat and talented enough to make their way up the ladder or they knew their place.

I have a great deal of respect for Triple H because he went to great lengths to succeed in the business in a time where not many oportunities were thrown around. He was bound to be a perennial midcarder and he started hanging out with drug addicts and alcoholics, people he got absolutely nothing in common with just to get a step ahead in his career. Cody Rhodes did something similar, he started hanging with these nerds and clowns Bucks and Omega because it was the right move for him at that time although it was pretty clear he didn´t fit with those fellas. Those are the kind of people that will do anything in their power to make things happen.

I remember an episode of Austin's podcast (I think it was, I know Austin was involved in the conversation), and I can't remember who it was he was talking to, it was possibly X-Pac and he said that the locker room was a shark tank. A guy goes out there and doesn't get a pop, or they flub a line, or they botch a move, any tiny little thing, there'd be a least 10 guys sprinting to the nearest agent, booker, writer etc "Did you see that, I could be in that spot and do it better"

I think it also stems from the old 10/150 deals as opposed to the guarunteed money. Cut the guy off at the knees, take their spot higher on the card, make more money. They just need to find that middle ground between "Evil minefield" and what there is now.
