And, while I'm on the subject of self-important geeks, Dark Side of the Ring has to show me something tonight. Vinnie Mac was exonerated in the highest of courts. If the producers blame him and a "culture" for the early deaths and legal problems of grown men who knew what they were doing, Bix has poisoned them. If they allude to rumor and innuendo that he was in cahoots and escaped justice, I hope they get lawyered harder than even @SocraticMethod has ever seen.

And I don't even like Vince that much. I just hate bitter neckbeards.

Wrestler: Takes an amount of steroids that would get countries banned from international competition, spend all their money in the bars and getting smacked off their tits, can't get over, continue working the indies in the arse-end of nowhere for $25 to keep them in Somas and Vodka, refuse to go to rehab on Vince's dime, turn to crime to keep their habits up, end up completely destitute if not dead already.

Bix: Why would Vince McMahon do this?

I'll just say this. Shutting down your endocrine system isn't like drinking a protein drink. If you don't know what you are doing it will fuck you up mentally and physically. If someone was forcing another person by threat of firing to do that it's not right.

This show really has to deliver.

Good ol JR is now in the weed business. If he doesn't grow a strain called "Slobberknocker" I'll be highly disappointed.

I hope JR puts out more CBD strains. No one really wants to because it doesn't move the needle. JR needs to show me something.

I hope he does a “chocolate cake” brand to honor Brain

You said it all brother. The Powers of Pain showed up in Stamford looking like this.

They're both still doing fine despite their hearts being the size of footballs. That's because they weren't drunken, pill poppin, manic depressives in addition to being juiced to the gills.

Cain Velasquez explains how WWE screwed up his feud with Brock Lesnar

Velasquez appeared this week on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and acknowledged the match in Saudi Arabia bombed:

“It is what it is, man. That was me just going into it and really just trying to figure out what it was. It was all thrown at me at once...I’m sorry to everyone that got let down. That does hurt me as well ‘cause I expect a lot out of myself. I expect more for myself.”

Cain explained that WWE wasn’t willing to put in the time to make his feud with Brock a success:

“They wanted me to stay in that MMA zone. They wanted me to have that rivalry with Brock, but they really weren’t willing to put the time in to have us work together to really do that. They wanted us to do that, and well, you know how that ended.”

One of the problems is that Cain didn’t want to have a worked MMA bout against Brock. Prior to his debut in WWE, Velasquez worked a couple matches in AAA under a luchador mask and received rave reviews. That’s the style Velasquez wanted to bring to WWE:

“Of course. That’s who I am. Yeah, I felt good in that style...I don’t know if they saw it wouldn’t work. That to me, and I think to everyone else, was a clear path, but that’s not what they chose for me.”
