Which one would you rather have in charge of your country? I know most people on the left would prefer Biden, but what about people on the right? Putin is a strong leader and not affected by political correctness, but he is also an authoritarian and extremely violent.

Any sane person is going to say Biden.

Putin is undoubtedly an impressive political figure, maybe the most singularly impressive on the world stage today, but he's risen to the top of a system that is incredibly corrupt and authoritarian and so he would naturally have developed a set of political habits and practices that are antithetical to a democracy.

Biden on the other hand might not be as impressive a political figure but he has far more experience within the institutions of democracy and he's been molded by it. Would definitely rather have Biden as my leader.

We already don't have freedom in the west. Try making your own medical decisions and not taking some shitty "vaccine" in a blue state sometime. Your rights have been outsourced to corporations and bureaucrats and revoked, and it's only going to get worse. Canada is freezing bank accounts and stealing money for opposing the dictator, they're letting airplanes make "no fly lists" without due process for any reason they choose, they can shut down your business, take your job, block your ability to travel freely.

How are you all managing to miss the point that the system and the person are different?
America's system will not allow its presidents to be all powerful. But the question was not "would you rather live in the American system or the Russian system?" the question was who I would rather have ruling my country.

Putin is a pretty obvious choice if those are my only two. You can believe that your politicians are pure as the driven snow, if you want. But I don't think that Biden, the person, has any less authoritarian tendencies than Putin - his environment just allows him to express them less.
My country would put fewer restraints on him, and if I have to choose between two scumbags, I'll choose the competent one whose ego might compel him to at least try and do a good job, and whose character is more suited to my country's people.

How do you miss the fact that Putin is the system?
