This is why I stopped gambling on MMA.

The last bet I made was that a fight would go all the way to a decision, didn't matter who won or lost, just as long as it'd go all three rounds without a stoppage.

Jon Fitch was fighting, and the guy who accepted the bet didn't know that Fitch's last 13 fights all went to a decision, win or lose.

Seemed like a guaranteed winner, right? A free $100 in my pocket.

Well, it just so happened Fitch was fighting Johnny Hendricks, back when Hendricks was a beast.

50 seconds into the 1st round, Fitch gets nailed by that Big Rig overhand right, and I'm $100 poorer.

Since then I have a strict no-gambling policy and I'm alot better for it.



That said - Dammit I was VERY tempted to put big money on Rousey/Nunes because I knew Rousey was done, and the fight went down exactly as I knew it would.

TS sorry you lost money. That is a lot. I can buy a x box one with that. I would never bet that much. But I can kind of understand. Werdum is one of my favorites. My friends brother showed us a video of him beating Fedor. At that time i didn't know who Fedor was so I youtube and looked him up on Wikipedia and it seemed like he was the best. But Werdum beat the best! Lol.

Also he has a gym near where I live. My mom said I can go there at first but I really wanted to do Machida Karate because Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida is one of my favorite fighters. My mom was kind of annoyed because now she has to drop me off and pick me back up. If I went to Werdum's gym I could have rollerbladed there.
