"Pure MMA" in Nanaimo, British Columbia?

Hey Y'all...

Possibly moving to Nainamo BC, and I'm wondering if anyone has any sort of comments or criticisms of the only MMA gym in town, Pure Fitness MMA. I've been training at Universal Martial arts in Vancouver for the past 2 years. They have a great program, several Champions and a winning record in local MMA, lots of class times and open mat times, great class sizes, decent rates, and lots of knowledgeable trainers and one on one attention. I'm wondering how Pure MMA stacks up in comparison as I train 5-6 days a week (BJJ and muay thai) and am considering eventually competing in BJJ and/or MMA. If the quality just isn't there I would consider moving to Victoria instead and going to Island MMA or ZUMA (would love to hear a comparison of these two gyms as well), as I know their reputation as world class gyms.

Hadn't actually heard of them before you posted this, looks like they're a newer franchise which makes me a little skeptical. There is also impact mma, which seems more like what you would be looking for. I know Nick Hinchliffe trains out of there and he is a decent fighter as well as a couple other guys, which shows me that they have a decent program and definitely not a mcdojo. If you're serious enough about it that you would move just to be close to a good gym I might just suggest to go to Vic, but who knows maybe impact is what you're looking for.
