I want to see what this SSD can do

I saw the reports last night of the Amazon UK leak, or whatever, that would convert to ~$750 USD, but I immediately dismissed them. There's no fucking way Sony puts out a console that costly. They know price is the most important battlefield in the war.Rumored price is 600-700 USD
With a price like that, I may as well buy a high-end GPU

Oh, okay. I'm being a debbie downer. My curiosity is also piqued, but realistically, that's the big picture. Unless the size of your immediate playable interactive surroundings as a character become so large they can't fit into your RAM and VRAM, at which point I wonder if you've rendered those obsolete, I'm not sure what else there is to gain. It's about game/checkpoint loading time and chaining travel across zones in huge open world maps seamlessly.

For example, future games might require an SSD to play them.
It’s over sonybrosMinute late. Epic fail for Sony.
