Nope other than using something like PSnow.

While your right about the community that isn't going to happen right away next year. It might take even longer this time because of backwards compatibility. I could see devs wanting to release on both PS4\PS5 to keep their sales up for at least another year. They did this for a lot of PS4 games when it first came out. BF4 was released on both ps4 and ps3 but communities were kept separate.
True. It might take a year after the release before we really start to see an impact.

Speaking of PS Now. Have you tried it? If so, how's the quality? I was considering trying it out for PC. I saw they have a 1 week trial on their website.

Haven't tried. From what people are saying it's great and much improved from when it first came out.

It's backwards compatible so any games you invest in will also work on the PS5.
Where did it say it's backwards compatible. I'm glad to hear that. Was pissed the ps4 wasn't

I'm not really that excited about PS5 but backwards compatibility will make it an easier purchase as long as it isn't much more expensive than PS4.

Any specifics on backwards compatibility? The article I saw was vague and only hinted at obstacles with VR.

So far it's a yes but someone linked me an article today where Sony wasn't' sure that all games would work. My guess it's like buying a new PC. You're pretty sure all your games from your old PC will work but some here and there might need some special attention aka a patch from Sony or the dev.

dude, cmon, lol

As a massive WH40K nerd I LOL'd hard at it being called Prospero.
MS should name their xbox prototype Fenris or simply Wolf

The real question is are there even going to be any good games for this shit?

Because who really needs a powerful console to play Fortnite?

There are good games for PS4, I see no reason for PS5 to not have any.

Wow that's super hideous 1.5/10 would not buy.

Saw a video on Facebook saying this was the design not a dev system.

If the past two console generations have proved anything, its the launch games have been lackluster.

They are either games designed for the previous generation but with upgraded graphics (best examples), or the completely buggy messes the developer rushes just to be on the launch lineup for maximum sales numbers because consumers will just buy it for something to play on their new $400+ system.

But last console generation we saw a new, and perhaps the best option, remasters of the best games of the previous generation with graphics upgrades and all the DLC included.

Perhaps we should be discussing which games are most likely to be ported over to the PS5/XBox'Two.'

Besides the obvious choices of Cyberpunk2077, Death Stranding, God of War, and a few others, I've been saying for a while that most people played Witcher 3 on the consoles and sadly got the shortest end of the stick as far as how amazing that game can be. If CDPR are very business smart, and I really hope they are, they should have already have contracted out another developer to port it over to the PS5 and take full advantage of all of its hardware.

Hell I love playing Witcher 3 on a PC, but I'd love to play it on a big screen with a controller.

Since the PS5 is going to be backwards compatible I doubt any time is wasted on remastering games. At best will get some "Ps5 enhancements" patch for all those games.

If that's the case, some developers are missing out on an opportunity.

I highly doubt a patch and a PS3 disc of The Last of Us would have upgraded it to 60 FPS 1080p.
