Know I am playing in a career mode but I haven't beat the fat japanese dude. My fighter gets KO all the time and is hard for him to get up. Knee what's the trick to make that fucker stand up?
At the third time (different round) he is gone for good. Even if KO the others suckers more than 4 times, they keep coming up.

What boxer are you using? He may just have no heart. But if you'r using one of the better 4 or 5 star fighters, that's probably not the case.

In that case I would say just dont get hit as much! The game is all about bobbing/weaving and setting up bodyshots with attacks on the dome (meaning the head, not Mr. Pete Donohue). Do you know how to bob/weave and through shots to the body? The only reson I ask is because most people don't bother to figure out until like a month down the road, and that is the most important aspect of the in-fighting of the game. And if your using one of the ghuys thats more technical, don't forget to move, no one is forcing you to go toe to toe. Your boxer will regain strength and stamina over time, so don't be afraid to dance around for a while until the round ends. If you really are in a pinch, press the Vene Vale Tudo button and the card-girl will give you a blow job in between rounds.

When I play the game I am like Vanderlei I just go and trade with anybody. I got the rising hammer as my special move, I go down wait for the hook, then I go up and BANG....they are hitting the canvas. I was trying to do the stick and move thing, but It seemed to me that I got hit more often than avoided punches. I get hit in average by 53 percent of the punches they trhow. I am using a fighter that I create and the heart is in 75 right know.
I like fighting MR. Donahue, because that's a dude that I can trade with without having to hit the canvas myself. One thing that the game is missing is Sonny Liston and Jack Dempsey those dudes were bad ass.

I don't know about that Haru but in the X-box you can play with two players.

The one and only reason stopping me from purchasing an x-box over ps2 is the controllers. I rented x-box and played Halo with a buddy and it was awesome, but the controls took a while to get used to. After a while the controls were pretty decent but I couldn't imagine even trying to use those controls on a fighting game or wrestling for that matter.
And those are my fav. kinds of games.

Haru buy the X-box for gods sake. I got an X-box and I need dudes to get X-boxes so they will make more games for dudes like me. Plus X-box is american if that argument counts in your case. If you are going to wait a few months then get the x-box because a lot of new games are coming up.

I probably will end up getting an x-box because all my buds have ps2's and I liked what I played for the x-box except for the controls. But what if as soon as I buy the x-box - 6 mnths later they stop producing it??

As for Gamecube-----dude, that's not even an option. Unless they can make a THQ wrestling game with the same controls as they did for N64, then I'll think abou t it.
