PS2 or XBox... what should i buy???

I rented Resident Evil for Gamecube, and I'm about half way through.

The game is simply unparalleled in terms of graphics (for ANY system game). You can't judge them by looking at screenshots on the internet either...they simply must be seen to be believed. It is simply the best looking game out there, for any system (don't take my word for it...check it out).

Apart from graphics (which obviously isn't everything), the gameplay is great--typical RE controls, love em or hate em. They did however add a few tweaks to make the gameplay better. It is easier to maneuver with the 180 degree turn, and I heard there were some other minor tweaks as well (although I'm not sure exactly what).

The Sound for RE is absolutely amazing. They have SO many different sounds. They have a sound for stepping in blood...they have a sound for stepping in blood with guts...they have a sound for stepping in water...they have a sound for stepping on a dusty carpet floor...etc etc etc. And the music--oh man. The game seriously scares me. I am 21 years old, and I decided one night that I'd rather not keep playing it b/c it was seriously freaking me out. I mean, it would be really quiet, and all of a sudden, for instance, dogs would come crashing through a window and the music would get EXTREMELY loud. Startles the crap out of you. Call me a puss, but not until you play it for yourself! lol.

PS2 is upgradeable. Get that one. But if you want Wrestlemania X8, then get Gamecube.

lol. You should invest in a Gamecube. Think about it, not only is RE out (which alone is worth a purchase of the system if you're a RE fan), but they're releasing all the other RE games too! The Gamecube version is huge, and it has two discs (one disc to play through as Jill, another disc to play through as Chris...there's no need to switch discs in the middle of the game or anything, and their missions are different). The next one that is coming out (the prequel--Resident Evil 0) will have THREE discs! Think about how huge that will be...they just keep getting better . Plus Gamecube is coming out with Throwdown...and from the previews I have read it seems it will be better than the ps2 version.

And just so you know, if you have beaten the first one for ps1 and know everything about it, don't let that be a reason not to play it. Why? Apart from the fact that this game is just simply amazing, 70% of the game is all new stuff. Same story, but different game!

I rented Knockout Kings 2002. I just ende up beating the shit out of Knee to the Dome....talk about a mismatch i was using Ali.

The game is cool but is missing out some features. i like the graphics though and whe you knock the shit out of somebody it looks pretty cool.

Man.....that last mission was killers.....I really had to come out with a smart strategy to kill all those Cartels guys plus shooting down the chopper at the same time. It wasnt easy at all!!!
