Did anyone with an XBOX get "Wreckless" yet? I picked it up yesterday, and I loved it at first, but now I'm having mixed emotions.

There are some serious design flaws that fuck up the flow of the game. Simple things like not being able to abort if you flip upside down (you have to wait a few seconds for it to happen... it really kills the frantic mood), or doing great on a long ass mission, only to make a simple mistake and have to start all over. The missions are either super, super easy or fucking hard as hell. Not hard like "hmmm, let me think this through again...", but hard like "eventually I will just happen to beat it".

What was cool about GTA3 is that you could take on the missions at your leisure. But in Wreckless, there is NO FREE-ROAMING MODE!! You cant just jump in the car of your choice and cruise, check out the city and all its intricacies. What the fuck?! The city is so alive and gorgeous (it's a stunning looking game), I can't understand what drugs they were on not to do whatever it took to put in a free-roaming mode. No multi-player, either.

There are also some collision discrepancies. Not once, not twice, but FIVE TIMES last night, I was deep into a mission, only to get 'stuck' on the corner of a building, forcing me to redo the mission, fucking bullshit. So frustrating.

And as frustrated as I was, I just found out that I am already half way through. Jesus.

Otherwise its actually really fun. No free roaming mode WHAT THE FUCK!??!?!

Knee... thanks for the update bro!! Remember we were talking about Wreckless the other day and it seemed pretty good. I read all about it at Gamespot and Gamespy. It has been getting mixed reviews too!! I will get if u recommend it. It sounds like there are a lot of flaws in this game compared to other Car games. I love GTA3 and GT3... two of my fav games. I got Gotham Racing for XBox and i gotta admit... this game rules!!! But, Wreckless interested me when u told me about it. What do u think bro?? Should i get it or now?? I trust your judgement!!

Project Gotham is sweet! My friend has it, and its probably my favorite racing game besides GT3. Another thing, anyone who has GTA3 and is on the 3rd island ever fly that damn dodo for more than 20 seconds? Thats my personal best, I flew it over to the other city and the crashed!
