Media Pros react to Fury vs Francis announcement

lol 10 years ago Ngannou finally made it to Spain from Africa after 8 tries and nearly dying in the process... he owned nothing but the clothes he was wearing
He now is triggering all sorts of fucking idiots and making big $$, all of them were like "oh he made a mistake, he'll come back begging to the UFC, he's worth nothing..."
Too fucking good even for a movie script
All the haters and Dana can eat some serious cameroonian dick

{<redford}<JackieThumbsUp>

Tons of people wanted that? Ok lol
You know, that is true. If you were remotely paying attention back then. It’s true. Even if it was just to see a certain Irishman get his ass whooped. But it’s true.

Sir, let me know when you have proof of any of that.
Nobody gave a fuck about that fight until everybody and their mother pushed it down your throat.

That fight was dog shit before it ever happened.
Conor got toyed with an stopped, and only hit Floyd with one really good punch.

Nobody asked for it, and nobody cared until the UFC pushed it, and if you were paying attention then you'd know that I'm right.

Yes, let us all pray together for Francis to do the unthinkable.

That dirty cheat Fury will use any means to not lose to an mma guy

Ngannau better have some sharp people on his staff watching everything like hawks

Well the 98% of cheap skates around here that illegally stream everything certainly won’t be buying it. But I’m sure they’ll complain about the next day if it disappoints.
I for one stream UFC events but generally purchase boxing cards unless heading out to watch.

I'll believe the "massive boxing payday" when I see it. Francis isn't bright, he's desperate, he has no leverage and he's not a draw so there was no reason to pay him anything but standard rate. And it's an exhibition boxing match which traditionally have earned dick. By the time Fury takes his lion's share there won't be much left for everyone else.

It doesn't have any of those clauses tho, it's official. Dana bootlickers about to pass out lol
You do know they said the same thing about Mike Tyson vs RJJ to promote the match then admitted closer to the date that it was an exhibition.
And for everyone talking about Francis winning the lottery here, do we know how much he's guaranteed for this session? Let's be honest, he doesn't seem like the best businessman and I don't see this fight doing shit for ppv buys.
Let's hold up a bit and wait to see what and how the dust settles on this "fight.'

Well you just said it yourself then.
The UFC saved that fight.
This "fight" won't have Dana White and the UFC carrying it.
I'm willing to bet Fury negotiated something close to a 75/25 split and will be an absolute dud numbers wise.
And no belts on the line?
This will be labeled as an exhibition by "fight" week.

I swear, people lose all common sense when the think emotionally.

Are you on meth? In one year he's talked himself into a massive payday, is the head of the African expansion of PFL and partial owner of PFL with the freedom to do whatever he wants with whatever sponsor he wants. He's one of the best examples of a fighter-turned-businessman that I know of.
