In a sense yes, matter is derivative and appears as patterns or structures within consciousness, but consciousness is all that truly "exists." I've been fascinated by this lately; panpsychism, analytical idealism, etc. Look up Federico F a g g in or Bernard Kastrup if you're interested, I'm terrible at explaining things lol.

Free will exists, it's just most people don't like or have the balls to make the hard choices. 80/20 rule is a thing. Most will always follow the pack. We always have a choice.
