I try to source my posts so that you don’t just have to take my word for it. I posted a link to the entire 900+ page Project 2025 manual, because I
want people to read that shit. I want them to understand exactly what these people are planning. Disagree with my politics if you like, but you can’t say I hide behind social media posts and edited propaganda videos and lies. I support my positions with good sources, and lots of ‘em.
I’ll try not to ramble too much, but a lot of what they said in that True/False you posted is playing with semantics. Example: they aren’t
technically trying to repeal the ACA, because a true repeal would be done by Congress. What they want to do is immediately issue a serious of executive rules and directives that completely render the ACA ineffective. They frame this as “offering policy
suggestions to
curb the abuses” (wink wink) of the ACA. Read the manual and see. They aren’t suggestions, they are a means of wielding unheard of executive power to gut Americans’ health care. They do the same when they claim that they never talk about ending or banning contraception. They say quite a lot about restricting Plan B and emergency contraception. I’m sure if you asked them, they’d say, “Oh, Plan B isn’t
contraception…” which of course is false.
TLDR: Project 2025 is a nuclear bomb to the checks and balances of the 3 branches of government. We shouldn’t use a weapon like that on our own people, and if Trump loses in November it’s not a weapon you’d want us to use either.
