Product brands you're "loyal" to?

Majority of my shit is generic.
However. Oreos and Eggos are my shit.

Apple (phone)
Sony (most electronics)
Lacoste/Ralph Lauren (polos)
Timberland (boots)
Guess (jeans)
Jack & Jones (jackets)

I've worn Adidas shoes for like fifteen years straight. They have come out with some disturbing commercials recently, and I don't like the image they have been portraying. They have basically been telling me their product isn't for me with their advertising.

I'm a Ford man, because I have utmost respect for Henry Ford and the 67 Mustang was always my dream car growing up. I have an old Ford Ranger and a '67 Mustang Coupe, 302. I remain loyal because of Henry Ford and honestly thats really the only reason. To be honest I like Toyota trucks. They seem to have a good combination of speed and power. If it wasn't for HF I'd probably drive Toyota trucks and German cars. When I worked for a beekeeper he had a Ford F-700 flatbed truck, when i worked for a tree service the company had a Ford F-650 chipper truck, and when I worked for my uncle who is an Electrical Contractor, he had Ford work trucks, so I guess that adds to my nastalgia for Ford as well.

I have always warn Dickies pants for work, and used to wear them to school growing up.

I'll wear Puma clothing sometimes, mostly because I just like mountain lions.

I like Carhartt jackets.

I only eat Siggis Icelandic Skyr when it comes to yogurt products.

I shop Amazon because they are just really convenient and pretty much always have everything I want. I'm typing on a kindle right now, it's my third one.

I have always had the utmost respect for Bill Gates in terms of what he did with personal computers and software. So I do prefer Microsoft over other companies and try to support them for historical reasons, the thing is I don't have Bill Gates money, so I do look at things like price when it comes to my purchases. There are a lot of cheap serviceable knockoffs out there. I do use Bing and my kindle also uses Bing as a default.

When it comes to chainsaws I'm split between Stihl and Husqvarna. I was always more of a Stihl loyalist, but when I worked for a tree service I also used a lot of Husqvarna and they are great saws too. Also Vermeer wood chippers are GOAT. I also like Fiskar hand saws and loppers.

My family always buys Echo weed wackers for our ranch, they do the job.

I like DeWalt cordless tools, Snap On automotive tools, Craftsmen hand tools, Skilsaw power tools, and Porter Cable pneumatic tools.

I don't really ride dirt bikes anymore but I like KTM's.

If I had the money I'd buy a sh#t ton of John Deere farm equipment, Caterpillar industrial equipment, and a Bobcat skid steer and attachment for every situation.

I like Winchester rifles and shotguns. I like Glock handguns. I would like to get Glock model 18, but, you know.

I used to work for a two-way radio shop, we were a licensed Kenwood dealer, so I really got to know a few Kenwood models (TK-372 and TK-316), but I also liked the Motorola HT-750 in my limited experience with it.

I don't really drink anymore but my beer of choice was St. Pauli girl. Mostly because of the Beermaid on the label. I did like Sierra Nevada Pale ale though, being from the Southwest. I was never much of a drinker though.

I'm in East County San Diego and I'm loyal to Marecharios Italian restaurant for pizza. The Wrangler for BBQ (they have the best BBQ sauce I've ever had in my life, I could drink it like water, everything else there is meh). I was loyal to Subway for my sandwiches, but when they hired Vick as a spokesman I cut way back because I'm a dog lover, they didn't do themselves any favors with Jared. Now I mostly get sandwiches from a local shop, the Grinder, which conveniently is located right next door to my favorite taco shop, Los Chavos.

When it comes to things like food and drink and clothes, to me, variety is the spice of life. So in many regards I don't have brands that I cater to. It's about the right combination of mood, price, nutrition, taste, situation, convenience, feeling, oppurtunity and whether or not the brands' company has done something that rubs me the wrong way.

I could keep going, but that's way more than anyone cares about already.

A bunch of douchebags up and down that entire company. Their CEO is shady and let's not get started with the ownership Lance Pharmstrong had/has.
You're clearly much more informed than I am. However, all I know is that my last 2 bikes have been Treks, I loved riding them and they were reliable.

Yeah, they were dark days. All that's gone now though thankfully. I think the advent of the android operating system encouraged a more open format. The ps4 is effectively just a PC in structure.

That said I cannot comment on cameras, last one I owned was 2000.

There have always been alternative to Sony, and never more than now.

The age of being bound to closed systems from M$haft and Sony are gone, thankfully. People say that Apple is a closed system, and maybe that's true of iTunes, but I can put a shitload of OSS and third party apps on my MacBook Pro and iOS comes out of the box with a GCC, unix and a terminal window.

Zegna clothing

I used to have a lot of Zegna clothing, just can't justify it now with kids and so many other things to suck up money. Can I still afford it? Sure. I just can't justify it. It's beautiful stuff though.

Are there any brands that you you consistently buy for a product when you need them? Any particular reason why? For me?

Pepsi: When I am looking for a "pop/soda always go Pepsi(regular kind). Why? I'm not sure?

Jif Peanut Butter:,Growing up we were crazy poor. Butter and jelly on Wonder Bread with an Apple was what we ate for lunch in school for years. When My parents had a few extra dollars, we had Creamy Jig instead. It's the only Peanut butter I'll eat.

Nike: Building off the Jif paragraph, my parents always got us hand me down shoes or maybe Pay less. I always wanted a pair of Nike's(after I got over the Reebok pump shoes lol). It's silly but they were a symbol that you are doing "good" money wise. Once I could afford them myself I got a pair, and will still buy Nike products if they are available. I know it's silly and I don't go full track suit, but subconsciously or otherwise, it makes me feel like I am doing good for myself financially to wear their products.

For me, it's Coke.
Family tradition. Love the taste, the look. Great with food or on a sunny day out.

Draw the line at Heroin and Meth though.

I've had a lot of cars throughout my life, my Chevrolets have always proven to be the most reliable and cheapest to maintain. Fords a close second.

I wouldn't buy another Toyota if the alternative was taking the bus

Running shoes - Nike, specifically Nike Free Run.

Vans shoes as well as Addidas shoes (for everyday)

Levi jeans

Helly Hansen winter jackets

Starbuck dark roast coffee

Hayabusa boxing gloves

Vega protein powder

Apple phones
Benchmade knives
Sig Sauer handguns
German cars
Adidas everything

Dodge Ram trucks. And John Deere tractors. Just because they have been SOLID for me my whole life.
John Deere can go eat a bag of dicks. They're one of the companies trying to stop the right to repair your own stuff.
