I wonder how much longer roglic and Jonas will be the main rivals
Wouldnt even call Roglic a rival honestly. His only rivals I would say are Pidcock(Classics), Van Der Poel (Classics), Remco (ITTs and Classics) and Jonas (Tour). Pidcock, could argue he's not yet a rival, but on a pure talent level....

Roglic retires after yet another Tour disappointment, believe it.

That's what I like about Remco. Big balls!

You guys think Remco will end up like Nibali, winning all 3 GTs? I wouldn't bet against it even with Pog and Jonas around. Right team, right circumstances.....

Actually maybe not with Pog around lol

I don’t think so. He’s only a year younger than pog, and pogi seems to be interested in TDF every year he can do it.

Dropped from peloton are:

Froome Chris (Israel - Premier Tech)
Meeus Jordi (Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe)

I admire how Froomster manages to keep robbing that Israeli billionaire year after year

Retirees should just call it a day at UCI events and join the Lifetime Grand Prix. Roglic in Unbound would be tremendous. Mohoric shat the bed with their amateurish bs when they went there last year.

Remco is awesome and I would not be surprised if he wins the Tour one day. But I can't see him beating a healthy Pogacar and that is a big obstacle, to put it mildly. As you point out, he is basically the same age as Pogi too. It feels like it would have to be a year where Pogacar crashes out and Remco has the ride of his life to take the GC.

Pogacar is also blocking him from LBL and Lombardia success. We all saw what Remco can do at LBL when Pogacar is not there. Remco could be adding a Monument a year to his record.

Sport can change in a hurry, of course. But right now it feels like Remco is going to have an awesome career that could have been even better if he had better timing.

Did Almeida just lose Tour de Suisse on the first stage lol. Gave more than 2 minutes to Vauquelin, Alaphilippe, O Connor, Gregoire

Almeida is just following the UCI directive that came out last year stating that O Connor is always given a minimum of a 2 minute head start in any stage race that Ben participates in.

No way Almeida wants to break that rule and have to pay 500 swiss francs.

Froome just doing his part to remind just us that billionaires are not smarter than other people.

I mean, who thought that contract was a good idea at the time? I never expected Froome to become the worst ride in the pro peloton but based on age alone, that open ended contract never made sense.
