Cycling Pro Discussion 4: Transfers Everywhere, Vuelta & Beyond

Not one attack by the 3 Visma riders. Not one. When Powless was 4th wheel WvA didn't even leave a gap to second wheel. Is fucking retarded? These are such simple tactics that you learn them within 1 year of getting your first race license.

WiTaF?

They attacked once when Powless was taking a leak at about 20km to go

At the same time, he must know he'll never find three other retards like this again, or a team DS that never raced a bike.
Yeah I mean that was possibly the easiest scenario ever. The fact that they didn’t even sprint all 3 guys is hilarious. I wonder if they were just over confident in wout and hosed it

It was the best of times... it was the worst of times...

I spent over an hour marvelling at Visma's tactics and sheer brute strength. Really impressive stuff.

10km left... <1 minute lead. best to wait

5km left... now they are going to attack, right?

3km left... ok. leaving it a bit close and all but I am sure we will see attacks right away?

1km left... ok. this is the dumbest thing ever but Wout should still win, right?

0KM left... well, that did not turn out well (except for Powless and I am happy for the guy).

Just fucking brutal.

At least Wout took responsibility and described himself as selfish. We all make dumb mistakes. I am glad that he at least looks like he is gaining form. The DS is either a puppet for Wout or does not know what he is doing. Neither are positive qualities for that job.

Love that area, real old world feeling.

Poor Wout will be savaged by the press/social media....again!

Chapeau, Powless!
