Tour de l’Avenir ends today with a hockey stick stage up the extremely hard Colle delle Finestre (18km @ 9,3%)

What makes it interesting is that the GC favourites lost tons of time yesterday to a O’Connor like breakaway sneakery

I have a love/hate relationship with this race. I appreciate your support of this race.

Canadian girl second!

Insane climbing performance on Finestre by Pablo Torres. About 3:30 faster than the Froomster

Great finale at the Vuelta! O’Connor taking tons of time few days ago was great for the race

Very hot day and 3 steep climbs, I expect some spectacular meltdowns today at the Vuelta

If Roglic cant put the hurt on O'Connor tomorrow on 3x ~3km @ ~9% climbs I think he'll be in trouble. Lots of Vuelta climbs for some reason have these long sections of barely false flat included so listed average gradients are quite misleading.

Renewi Tour starting tomorrow, pretty fucking stacked sprint field: Philipsen, Merlier, Milan, De Lie, Kooij, Gronewegen, Girmay, Bennet, Bauhaus.
Such a shame that Grand Tours have been incredibly lacking when it comes to depth of sprinter quality this year.

Another great day of racing. What a difference lack of super mutants and teams that can control makes.
Mas might be the rider to watch out for on Ancares and Cuitu Negro, looked really good and I dont think the terrain quite suited him today.

I have hardly watched anything of it so far.

Gotta get caught up on replays/highlights

4 Decathlon riders and one of their DS's got fines and new "yellow cards" for blocking the road and causing Carapaz to crash.

Milan wins the longest sprint ever at the Renewi Tour and Merlier does a bike throw straight in to Groenewegen and gets relegated.

I accidently drained energy from Mas, Roglic as close to winning Vuelta GC as he can be.

I really wonder if Decathlon is going to regret not setting Gall free the second they hit the steep part and O'Connor was instantly dropped.

Mas looks great.

As always the vuelta is a slow burn and it really starts today in my opinion. That top 10 less oconor has been very tight, today I expect to see it spread out a bit

Mas cracked badly on Ancares. Roglic likely takes the red on sunday and if not then absolutely by tuesday on the slopes of Covadonga. O'Connor continues to lose time and will slip off the podium by Moncavillo.

Yes that’s what is supposed to happen

But it’s cycling no?
