Pro Cycling Discussion 4: Transfers Everywhere, Vuelta & Beyond

Great stage at Tour of Oman with absolute carnage during final 300m as climbers sprint!

World tour professional riders or cat 5? You decide!

Bernalito wins both Colombian road and TT champs, is this the comeback year, finally?

Vollering cruises to easy victory in her debut wearing FDJ kit dropping returning Van Der Begger. I think she'll be an unstoppable juggernaut this season.

UAE tour starting tomorrow and with one of the most stacked sprint fields of the year: Merlier, Philipsen, Milan, Kooij, De Kleijn, Bauhaus, Welsford, Groenewegen, and of course The Pog. Also starting the future hopes and dreams of the french nation Paul Seixas.
If I remember correctly Merlier swept the sprint stages last year apart from one where he had flat tire and was second.

Wout starts his season today at Jaen Classic, the spanish Strade Bianche. Hope that the big man is not quite so unlucky this season.

POG ATTACK @ 36KM DROPS KOIIJ! maybe Olav better go back to farming wins against Oman national team

My first time watching Clasica Jaen.

Really, really fun race. Coverage started with about 80km to go and the race was splintered shortly after that. Ineos and UAE played everything correctly. Visma seemed on the back foot all day. They could not adjust to Wout not having his best legs.

Thrilled for Kwiatkowski to get a win.

Bernal was looking so strong and that makes his crash and injury even more sad. hopefully he is back at it in a couple of weeks.

I don't know how many chances Del Toro is going to get on UAE this year but he looked magnificent today. Super talent confirmed once again.

If this race is this much fun every year, it will become a must watch.

EDIT - I don't remember the name of the rider who finished 3rd. Great ride for him. He was in the breakaway most of the day and still landed on the podium. Great result for a small team.

Tour of Algrave starting tomorrow where Vingegaard and Roglic will face off and Almeida likely will once again prove that he has zero race IQ.
Tour of Andalucia starting tomorrow too but sadly with rather weak startlist compared to the previous years.

It was great last year too, 2023 I only remember Pog long solo win.

UCI ROBBED GANNA! Tour of Algarve stage1

and Decathlon showing strategic masterclass at UAE by pacing Pogacar instead of attacking him with Gall and Seixas.

Impressive ride by young Jan Christen to win at Algarve while Almeida drops both Hanson-Vingegard and Roglic on Alto de Foia. Impressive ride by Morgado who finishes fifth just infront of Hansen-Vignegård.
Roglic lacking the patented Roglic uphill sprint.

Joao with +50w home turf advantage and +5 race IQ??

Algarve broadcast totally missed Almeida-attack. Even more impressed by Morgado after watching this, he was 7-8s behind Vingegaard at 400m and finished infront of him.
