Prime day

I have a 58” Samsung PLASMA tv in my bedroom that is Immortal.
Hiya.

I did pretty well, I was on the cusp of the food processor the night before and got $60 off, a Ninja air fryer which we used tonight and was wicked, silly rubbish like a robo vacuum that mops, some nice plates,

The air fryer is massive which I didn't want being I have spindly arms but I love it.

I wil drive myself mad if I look at the thousands I've spent on there this month had I held out haha.

A pedal board which was like down to $100, there was a reason for that.

Any Food Processor updates @fingercuffs , (looking to replace my noisy dinosaur) ?
This has worked out perfectly as a home processor. The previous version had a defect issue cleaning up after but I love this. It won't let me link it, but from country to country I've always had them.

Cuisinart Food Processor 14-Cup Vegetable Chopper for Mincing, Dicing, Shredding, Puree & Kneading Dough, Stainless Steel, DFP-14BCNY

I've spent a flippin fortune on Amazon pretty much daily the last month. My food processor died yesterday, as I was adding to buy saw the clicker top right.

Anyone holding out? The processor I'll end up buying will last for years like the last one but at $225 I can be swayed with reviews. I also want a hefty air fryer.

What are you after?

/cue negative comments.

I've had mine for 8 years and paid $40 bucks for it, and I make cashew butter and whatnot in it.

Depressing ass thread.

How utterly gutted and abused by the capitalist brain worm can you even be?

Not even consumption, but needless consumption. Not only needless consumption but feeling the actual lack of a desire for needless consumption. Not only feeling a lack of desire for needless consumption but chatting about it online.

Good lord, it's worse than a fucking zombie apocalypse.
I completely agree even though I am guilty to some degree.

I don't understand why @Stump said it's "mindless". I NEED a food processor. A pestle and mortar won't do for the food I cook. I have a small processor for small pastes but I need a big food processor to cook normal meals.

Cmon now - It was a pretty strong comment I made, to be sure, but it was a decent point - there were indeed people in the thread complaining about how they didnt actually want or need anything, but wanted to partake in this consumption festival nonetheless.

And you yourself said you bought some silly shit.

I feel a bit stupid right now, TBH, as I'm typing this on a brand new laptop I just picked up this morning. I was seeing if my sherdog login info was saved and saw the tag, and here I am typing about unnecessary consumerism on a laptop that's probably way more capable than I need it to be.

Bet it's a pretty sweet laptop though, right? ;)

I get it @Stump I'm not all consumerismsmsmsms. My Macbook Pro I think is from 2012. But I need working kitchen equipment.

It is. I'm a student in an online, asynchronous masters program so I definitely need a laptop for my studies, and my previous laptop was 7 years old when I bought it, refurbished, 3 years ago. In that time I'd made significant repairs on it myself 3 times, it's been to 6 different countries, taken apart 4 or 5 times for repairs and replacement of parts. It finally shit the bed yesterday and I've a test tomorrow so, didn't have a lot of options... BUUUT, I could have definitely bought a used one, or another refurbished one without nearly the capabilities as this nice new one...
and yeah, it is indeed pretty sweet :\

Matey, you gave it over and above your very best before throwing the towel in. Good luck with your test!
